I have questionsss, what's your process for creating your art? How do you choose your colors? And I always get the feeling that there's some kind of cool effect on your paintings that makes them look so soft(? idk how i describe that) :)

It's kinda hard for me to describe my process in a streamlined way, I guess I havenβt thought much about it
I can say that what motivates me to start is just having fun with the overall art of character design: posing, expressions, and tons of unique features that I can stylize and experiment with to fit my interpretation of different characters. Also, just being inspired by other artists to improve is a big thing.
Choosing colors, for me, is really a mess of several layers with different blending modes, and sometimes I even make adjustments in my phoneβs photo app until Iβm happy. Rarely can I actually pull off the βperfectβ colors with what I pick from the color wheel. But eventually, Iβd like to improve with that!
I tend to lower the contrast I think it makes everything softer or mesh better in a way. Also, I prefer warmer tones, and take lots of inspo from retro animations, animes, and posters
