So, you know your “Linger Longer” Mapleshade little skit? Yeah, I wanna talk about it.

First, it’s GREAT. Cosmo Sheldrake really fits the situation, especially that specific song. But what I’m really here for is one specific frame: THIS ONE.

This frame. THIS. FRAME. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE.

I’m not an animator or a very good artist but I do know that there is something that exists when trying to draw expressions. It’s my favorite thing and I call it “The Wide Eyes”. In cartoons and cartoony styles you’ll often see some characters with wide eyes and the usual tiny pupils and sometimes shadows around their faces or eyes all together. That is a great detail for expressing things like fear or in some cases, pure psychopathic intentions. Example: Bob Velseb from Spooky Month. This frame right here, you absolutely NAILED IT. I was so impressed. You did great with Ravenwing but I really loved Mapleshade’s face. That creepy, unsettling, wide-eyed stare from the darkness with the glowing yellow was chef’s kiss. She had just lost her kits and there is nothing on her mind but getting revenge. Your drawing of Mapleshade staring into Ravenwing’s back like he stole some of her McDonald’s fries is my absolute favorite example of this subject.

WAHHH I'M SO GLAD TO SEE SOMEONE STILL TALK ABOUT LINGER LONGER!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS!!! This was actually one of the first shots I made for this pmv!! :D and probably my favourite out of all the animations I've made HAHA
