“If you ain’t makin’ her an Old Lady then it ain’t special,” he reminds Axel. That was what the Sirens were looking for. They were looking to be taken care of (in multiple ways) and to get the Old Lady tattoo. Seth had always been flirting with the Sirens, probably promising them shit when he was drunk but everyone knew that Seth would probably end up being one of the last people to take an Old Lady, let alone a wife. “She’s fine. Talked to her and got her goin’ to get her hand checked out so she stops havin’ to miss work. She’s a big fuckin’ girl. She ain’t need your coddlin’,” he tells Axel. Seth knew Yasmine well and he knew that suffocating her was the last thing that woman wanted. The former president chuckles, shaking his head. “Yeah, I saw her. Bet she’s a good time.”

axel understood what seth was saying , he had gotten the same words , not exactly but the moral of the story was in there . don’t get attached to a siren and that’s exactly what he had done , he stops for a brief second when he mentions the coddling ❝  I never said she needed my damn protection . take it as you like but whatever happens with her , it don’t concern me no more . ❞ he had told himself he needed to do that and that’s exactly what he was going to do . hearing the last set of words of aubrey , he runs his hand through blonde locks ❝  where was she when you saw her ? ❞ 

she’s outside taking pictures of the store front , she needs a few pictures for the website . as she takes the shot , she feels a grasp on her leg and almost screams but when she looks down . she sees a pair of green eyes looking at her , scared looks turns into a more genuine one . ❛  hey little one , where is your mommy or daddy ? ❜ she picks him up and looks around , seeing a frightened man approach her ❛  i’m guessing this little one belongs to you ? ❜

he doesn’t have much trouble with asher when he has to do errands with them but alexis was a different story , he could not lose focus on her for more than 5 minutes . he’s almost scared half to death until he sees her , his hands at his side as he runs to the blonde . ❝  yes , thank you so mu - ❞  he makes a brief stop as he sees the tattoo on her wrists ❝  amata , is that you . it’s axel , jer’s friend ?  ❞  he asked as he looked over at her 

They had spent the entire afternoon taking advantage of the time they had missed out already. A year and three months to be exact. When he invited her over to put their twins to bed, there was no way she could say no. The brunette helped bring them inside, carrying Asher against her as Axel guided her to their nursery. Giving them good night lullabies and kisses, she couldn’t believe it really was all happening. She had dreamed so many times of this moment and it felt like her dream had come true. Following him through his household, she lingered. “Thanks for… coming around,” she said to him. The beginning was rough but they seemed to be making progress. “You’ve always understood me.”

he didn’t know what had happened between himself and ava , the day of the park was just different and he just needed some alone time with her , as they make it back to the living room he leans on the sofa ❝  well , it wasn’t easy at the start but it seems that you’ve somehow change my mind , like you always tend to do . ❞ he didn’t know what it was but here he was roped up in the magic that was ava winehouse. ❝  we’ve always gotten each other , even after all this time .  ❞ 

“Aubrey does that with everybody,” she said, a little laugh accompanying that statement. It was true, Aubrey was always more than generous with not only Talia but anyone they came across. Her finances were always in tip-top shape. Something that inspired Talia to always have her savings and credit card’s in line. “Well how could we not? We basically grew up together. We knew each other before we had boobs, Ax,” she laughed, handing a toy over to Asher. “Oh, that sounds like it’s going great. I’m happy for you. Do you think… it’ll last?” She asked him worriedly. 

❝  yeah , well she needs to stop . ❞  he tells the brunette before him , he knew that was aubrey away of showing how much she cared about someone . ❝  how can I forget , you were always over our house .  ❞  he can’t forget the three little girls giggling across the hall while he hung out with his friends ❝  talia , stop hovering . ❞  since aubrey had left and he was sort of alone , she became like another sister ❝  I am grown ass man , I’m fine . ❞ 

Sitting with the baby was causing mixed feelings for Anastasia. The only reason being because for the past few years– her being single was becoming a problem for her father. Her narcissistic controlling yet loving father. It was a mess but his opinion of her mattered to her. She was a perfectionist, and she got it from Sergio. “That’s because us blondies stick together, right, Alexis?” Stassie said to the baby with a smile, bouncing her. “Oh yeah, totally, next time you have date night or a party, I’m your girl,” she teased. “You’re a dad, huh?” She said, still a little in disbelief how much his life was surprising her. “What’s that like?”

it was like watching a sitcom , as soon as anastasia spoke to alexis, the baby smiled and nodded in her arms . he had never seen that happen with anyone she just had met . ❝  well , she’s seriously must like you . ❞ he added once more and then laughed ❝  what if the dates with you , what am I going to do ? ❞  he inquired with a small chuckle but recovered it quickly as she inquired him about being a dad ❝  it’s the best thing to be honest , I can be having like you know what of those days that just suck and then I come home and I see them and , everything else just sort of vanishes . ❞

Angel squints at him, brows furrowing before she rolls her eyes. It’s something she honestly really hates hearing. Whether a person is joking or they’re dead serious and trying to give her another lecture that they somehow think is going to uproot all of her so-called bad habits, she can’t stand it either way. What she longs for is to be ordinary, plainly so. So ordinary that no one gives her a second thought, nor would they care or blink an eye if she simply disappeared from the weight of existence. That’s what she wants. 

But Angel’s small existential crisis dissolves when Axel places the plate of pancakes in front of her. The smell, she nearly groans. It’s been a while since she’s had anything that’s looked nearly as good as this. Crossing her legs, she pulls the plate into her lap.  “Thank you,” Angel’s quick to say, already digging her fork into the stack. “Milk is fine,” She tells him, grinning at him.

he wants to be there for angel , maybe because his father instincts kicked in , maybe because he really did care about the girl and would feel like shit if something happened and he could have helped her , someway , somehow . going back into the kitchen , he brings back a tall glass of milk . 

<❝  here you go . ❞  he placed the cup on the gable in front of her , alexis and asher talking gibberish about god knows what this time around . ❝  well , in a few weeks —— ❞  he sits on the air chair next to her ❝  it’s going to be alexis and ashers second birthday  and I’m inviting Ava and she’s coming and obviously want you to come as well . ❞ 

she hopes it would feel better. that if he believes her, it would make it all better. the truth is, it didn’t. a part of her is happy to know she hasn’t done anything wrong. this isn’t her fault. he’d believed someone else and slept with whomever he could find. even when seth had made his advances, she didn’t give in. her eyes move away because she knows he’ll be able to read her if he looks into her eyes. she’s hurt. he hurt her. still, his hand curls around her jaw and she has no choice now but to take his words, hear the finality in them. the ‘was’ bit hard, tearing a chunk out of her flesh. “i’m a siren.” she leans back into the cabinets, clearing her throat. “i guess i must have forgotten what i was for a second.” Sirens didn’t get the happy ending or the men. he wasn’t going to take her up as an old lady. this should have been something to expect since the very beginning. even though his words were nice, where he believed she was special, his actions said otherwise. walking towards him, she rises her hands to cup his face. “i hope you find everything you’re looking for. i hope find someone that loves you and you let them.” she pushes a strand from his face and sighs. “i guess this is it. maybe i should go then.” they’d see each other at the club and pretend like their past didn’t exist, that they were nothing.

he was more than aware that nothing good would come of this , whatever they had been , it just couldn’t continue for both their sakes . her words feel like small sharp stings , he simply nodded his head and lets his hands drop at his side once again . ❝  you don’t mean that , you’re being hard on yourself because you’re upset at me . ❞  he adds on as he lets oceanic hues take in her gestures , her words caused a furrow of his brows , why did it sound like she was leaving and never coming back ; maybe because deep down , he Knew this was bout to happen ❝ you know something ——-   ❞  he makes a brief stop as his hands cup her face , his head resting against hers , nose aligned with hers and his lips brushing against hers  ❝ I wish the same for you and so much more .   ❞  he confessed , his words are shallowed whispers ❝  it’s up to you , you can go home or you can stay .... ❞ his lips pressed on hers just slightly . 

andres was happy to see his brother.  a friend he’d trusted for a while now. “i heard about that through the grape vines. i was trying to steer clear from that mess.” he also heard about how things had ended and just how bad it was when the twins were delivered. “how’re you feeling about that? i mean, it’s good for the kids but what about you? any old feelings resurfacing?” they were married so he was curious. “aubrey, yeah, i saw her.” more like he’d flirted with her but he didn’t need to say that too loud. “i saw her at the bar. she looked good.”

he lets a short laugh escape his lips ❝  believe me , if I could , I would . ❞  he shakes his head looking at andres ❝  I don’t know man , I mean asher loves her . like loves her , I have never seen that kid as happy as he is when he’s with her but alexis she’s a little bit more reserved , I don’t know if it’s cause aubrey is being a bad example like always or if she really feels something off . ❞  he says laughing , his next set of words caused a furrow of his brows ❝  what the hell was she doing at a damn bar , I swear to god , I will murder her sooner or later . ❞ 

“Y’can’t think like that,” Jer said. “You’ll go down a long path that will lead nowhere besides extreme guilt,” He’s been down those roads before, but the mechanic also had a pretty good feeling that no matter what Axel chose to do with Sage beforehand, things would play out the same way. “Honestly, same shit’s been going on with me. Just trying to…figure out what happens next. Pretty much waiting for the other shoe to drop with the Rogues, hoping they’re running scared. How about you? Saw your sister the other day, didn’t know she was coming around.”

he knows that jeremiah is right , he knows that it wasn’t his fault but part of him , a small tiny part still thinks of what would have happened if he wasn’t there that night , if they hadn’t fucked . He tries his best to push those thoughts to the back of his mind . nodding his head at jer’s words ❝ hopefully they got the message that it ain’t going to be that easy .  ❞ he knew that he was not going to go without a fight , he wasn’t going to let no one else , hurt anyone that he loved . nodding his head once aubrey is mentioned , a sigh escapes his brims  ❝ yeah , her and pops went at it at the clubhouse the other night and she thought I was taking his side and now she is living somewhere , she isn’t speaking to me and she’s dragging it out . So I’m just letting her be but I asked ry to keep an eye for her . god knows , I do not need any more issues , especially not bree .  ❞   he turned to look at jeremiah ❝ did she tell you any reason why she is here ?  ❞ he didn’t know if she would have but Andy and Jeremiah were always people she opened up to the most .  

yasmine was feeling irritated and a little hurt. “you should have asked me.” if nothing else, she expects that from him. the subject of her unborn child is what feels like a punch and she can’t help but be shocked that it had been turned into something it wasn’t. her pregnancy was an accident but one they wanted. when it didn’t happen, yasmine had drowned herself into work. seth had done whatever the fuck he does. “my pregnancy has nothing to do with this.” she felt her doors shut down when she entered his home. at this point, she wasn’t sure if she wanted things to go back to normal. especially if she’d have to deal with the rumours and lies every time a siren got jealous. even more if he’d believe those same rumours. she moves towards his kitchen table and sits down. “i’m not here to ask for anything more than for you to believe me. i thought i was going to fight but … i’m not going to fight when i’m the only doing that. seth and i used to fuck a few months back but he dropped me twice for other people. stopped calling until it blew up in his face and came back. it took that many times for me to understand i’m just a lay up for him.” she couldn’t say she’d never fuck seth again but she knew better. “he’s sleeping with someone and the last thing i need is a jealous girlfriend prepared to break my nose.”

he’s known to be cold and distant , he’s known to be some of the worst people and he knows that he was harsh with her . he treated her as if she was just someone else . he didn’t think that it would result into something like this , sitting down . hands between his legs as he hears her out ❝  I believe you .  ❞  he looks up at her , grassy hues trying to form something or even find something . ❝ I’m sorry that things got so messy and ———  ❞  he stops slightly and looks at the brunette , tucking a piece of brown lock behind her ear ❝  I trust you and I care about you yasmine.  ❞  he wants to be honest but he’s never been good with words , expressing himself with woman was never anything he learned how to do , very well . ❝  I think that  you are so special ❞  he cups her face and let’s his thumb caress her cheek ❝  this isn’t good for you or for me and I don’t want to make promises I don’t intend to keep  ❞ he knew that they were doomed , maybe they were right people , wrong time . ❝  you were there when I hated everything and everyone , when I couldn’t even get my shit together long enough to go out and do a task .  ❞  he pulls away just slightly , his eyes still focused on hers ❝ I believe you and you will always be someone special to me . ❞ he doesn’t another pass and look up at her once more ❝  You were like coming up for fresh air. It's like I was drowning and you saved me ❞  

Eyes narrow as Axel speaks, unsure of how to feel about the woman in question – Ava’s certainly known struggle, but it doesn’t change how rocky things are between her and Axel, her strained relationship with her kids, her failed attempt at Prospecting. Andy has no interest inserting himself in Axel and Ava’s business – The same way he’d have the head of anyone who tried to make commentary on his and Rowan’s parenting. He wants the best for Axel’s kids, his godchildren, and he can only hope that this them turning a corner. “Just be careful,” he offers with a serious look. “Takes a long time for people to change, if they ever do at least.” Andy ends it with, eyes rolling as they talk about Yasmine. He doesn’t doubt that Axel cares for the woman – They’ve grown closer than just fucking each other on occasion, but it’s an unspoken rule that you don’t get attached to Sirens. Unless you’re planning on making them your Old Lady, at least, and something tells him Axel isn’t going to. At least, not any time soon. “You’re sayin’ you don’t care, but it sounds like you do, man.” Andy points out, seeing through the bullshit. “S’better to cut it off, man. Not to be a buzzkill, but she’s a Siren – Her whole schtick is sleeping with club members. If that’s gonna be an issue for ya, s’better to end it there. We don’t have time for petty love triangle bullshit.” 

axel trusts andy’s advice , they grew up together and he doesn’t see it changing anytime soon . he simply nods his head  , both hands at the side of the pool table that he was leaning against ❝ I want her to be there for them , she is trying or at least I think that she is trying .  ❞ he looks at andy once the conversation starts there . he knows it’s no good and that whatever he has with her has run it’s course , it happened the day that everything went down with the other blonde siren . ❝  it’s just a  lot , I think it is better if I just end it . ❞ he knew that it would be better for her in the long run , she’s not someone that he could really make permanent and he’s sure she doesn’t want to either . ❝  I seriously have too much on my plate to deal with everything , bree just vanished . she and pops went at it and she came and told me about it and I told her that she shouldn’t have been so cruel and mean and she took it as me taking pops side and now she took her bag and just dipped , its like I’m 15 all over again . ❞  he knew that his kid sister was more than capable of looking after herself but after coming back to olympus with no worries , he worries for her .

The brunette smiled at Asher as he crawled back into her lap. This was just what she needed. For the past year, she yearned to be a mother. She didn’t mean to fuck up everything they had but fucking up was her specialty. Listening to him explain the twin’s separation reactions from his aunt, she nodded, rubbing Asher’s back as he banged toy cars together. “Maybe they think Aubrey is their mom,” she said, quietly, her attention being taken away by Alexis as she made sounds towards her brother. “C’mere,” she told her, reaching out towards the baby. She was glad after everything she put them through, their children were happy and healthy. She laughed listening to him describe Alexis’ manipulative ways. Like mother, like daughter, apparently. “Winehouse women know how to get shit done,” she said to him, placing a gentle kiss on Asher’s hand. “Yeah, I am. Thank you,” she said to him with wide eyes. “I didn’t think we’d ever be here,” she admitted to him. “I’m glad we are, though.” 

He watches as the toddlers interact with one another and he taps alexi’s hand ❝ you have to be nice to your brother , what have I told you .  ❞ he says to the toddler and looks at the brunette beside him . He shakes his head as he looked at her ❝ no , don’t even worry about it . they know that she is there aunt . bri-bri because he can’t say aubrey. It’s pretty darn cute if you ask me .  ❞ he says as he smiles and watches as she plays with their kids . ❝ I have been witness of that winehouse power .  ❞  he says as he held Alexis stand up , pulling down her skirt . ❝  yeah actually rowan told me about this park , it’s really calm and no one ever really comes here but I like it .  ❞ he confesses and he turns to give her a look , it’s endearing . he doesn’t know what it is exactly but he cups his hand over hers ❝  I’m really proud of you , I know at the start of all this , I wasn’t exactly supportive but I see it now . ❞  he tells her with a small smile on his brims  ❝  I believe in you .  ❞ 

As soon as Axel came into view, Tessa knew exactly why he was headed her way. Sure, the two had been friendly considering his own sister was like a sister to her, but he wasn’t the first person to find her and approach her if they were at the same bar. “Well, if it isn’t my second favourite Morrow.” Tessa lifted her glass and clanked it gently against his, patting the bar stool next to her. “Sorry, I’m not sure who you’re talking about,” She teased, knowing full well this wasn’t the place for that. “She’s okay, Ax…being the same Bree we know and love. What about you? Getting into tons of trouble?”

❝  second favorite ? I’m a little hurt ? ❞ he asks with a simple smile on his features , looking at the brunette ❝  she’s not talking to me and she’s upset and I’ve tried calling but when bree wants to be a pain in the ass she’s the biggest one there is . ❞ he confessed with a stressed out sigh escaping his lips ❝  i am behaving just fine , nothing club , work , kids . nothing much . ❞  he says to her smiling ❝  how about you ? ❞ 

“ Deal, I’ll take the fall if anything goes wrong. That’s how confident I am. ” Remi smiles widely, excitement already beaming from her knowing that her friend was finally going to be given a chance to be a mother. “ Nicer to you? I give what I receive. ” she teasingly reminds Axel with a hint of a smirk, knowing that this is by far the nicest conversation they have probably ever shared. Her head turns to look up at him as she remains on the couch, her smile only growing with every second. “ Bree’s coming back?! When? How long for? ” Remi’s excitement for the return of her soul sister is more than evident, although it immediately begins to waver with Axel’s next words, and her smile is quickly replaced with a frown. “ You want me to snitch on my own best friend? ” she twists the cap of her bottle, the plastic snapping with a satisfying pop. “ Do you realise how stupid that sounds? ”

❝ well we will see .   ❞  he mused towards remi and there is a part of him that wishes that things were as simple as remi puts it out to be . once he hears her inquiries ; he’s to respond but her next set of words cause a roll of his eyes ❝ she’s going to be here tomorrow or maybe even tonight , I’m not sure yet . ❞  he tells her but continues shortly after ❝ it’s not snitching , this is not like when you were children covering each other’s asses . ❞ his features become gloomy ❝  im serious remi, I’m worried about her . how do you just leave a man your engaged with , a man we don’t even know just from what comes out on tv and magazines . she’s just here saying she’s done , aren’t you worried , cause I am . ❞
