Of the Castillo siblings, Remi isn’t the one Andy sees the most often. She’s someone he still tries to keep any eye out for, even if she’s made her thoughts on the MC clear. Andy generally keeps his distance from her, mostly because he can’t add the headache of arguing about the club onto his plate -- And out of respect, since she’s Blake’s little sister. Even if she doesn’t like the club, she’s still close enough to his family to pull his concern -- So when he spots her at the patch over party of all places, Andy approaches her. Though, it’s mostly out of his own curiosity than any concern. They’re outside, mostly away from the commotion from the party. He takes a drag of his cigarette, free hand stuffed into his pocket. “This doesn’t really seem like you’re scene, kid.” 

B: Pack a bag.

B: I want you to stay in the guest room until shit settles.

This was stressful, to put it plainly. Going to an AA meeting was something Andy thought he’d never be able to do -- Instead, he anticipated holding the handlebars of his motorcycle until his knuckles were white and muscles cramped before eventually heading home. Though it didn’t play out exactly like that, Andy still spent a good twenty minutes staring at the front doors of the community center, chain smoking until he grumbled Quit being a fucking coward and forced one foot in front of the other. Calling himself an alcoholic wasn’t something he’d fully come to accept -- The word still formed as a lump in his throat, never quite passing his lips. He felt like he had this under control, able to curb whatever issues he held with keeping himself focused on anything else. But, Adrian seemed to believe in it -- So he figured it was worth a shot. Once, at least. 

He strikes up the nerve to walk into the meeting -- Late, thanks to his own cowardice -- and sneaks a chair in the back row. Leaning back into the chair, he crosses his arms and listens as people share their stories, doing better than he expected before a far too familiar face goes to the podium. I’m Remi Castillo, and I’m an alcoholic. Eyes go wide as she speaks, her words sounding muffled over the ringing in his ears. It was naive to think he wouldn’t run into someone he knows here -- But Andy thought he’d picked the perfect time, where he wouldn’t run into any friends or club members, and that his struggles with sobriety would still remain on the down low. It’s not like he and Remi were really friends -- But she was certainly not someone he wanted seeing this part of himself. At the first chance he got once the meeting adjourned, Andy’s on his feet, heading for the door so that he doesn’t get stuck in the inevitable conversation that’s bound to happen if he sticks around. 

HONESTY HOUR.

A mirthless chuckle passes through Blake’s lips at the question at hand.  As far as Blake was concerned, there was nothing she wouldn’t do to protect her family.  For the foreseeable future, there was no line that currently existed as Blake would go to extreme lengths to protect them.  “No,” Blake decides to answer.  “There is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect my family.”

HONESTY HOUR.

"When she admits that she was wrong," Blake says flatly. For her, it was that simple –– especially considering how much shit her younger sister has given her for being involved in the club.

Blake has been on edge, to say the least, since the night of Remi’s birthday party at Calliope considering the argument that her and Wes got into in the parking lot which resulted in some residual tension in the Castillo household that wasn’t going to go away so easily.  She knew that he was coming from a place of concern, however, it was quite literally the last thing she needed as she was very aware of the decisions that she was making and the effects that it would have on her life and she didn’t need Wes to remind her of that.  She was struggling a lot more than she cared to let on and she needed his support more than his judgement or concern for the situation because him of all people should be able to understand what she is dealing with and she is tired of listening to him preach when he was the one who lied about going to rehab to go on a year long bender just last year.  He was far from innocent or the picture of sobriety.  As far as she was concerned, he was in no position to judge or scold her.  Since their argument in the parking lot of Calliope, Wes has been insistent on running all of their errands, though, Blake knew it was a recipe for disaster as Wes could barely follow her instructions and she almost always had to go back because he’d forgotten something important.  She suspected that he didn’t trust her to go anywhere alone which, realistically, was a fair assumption as there was nothing stopping her from going through the alcohol aisle to obtain a bottle of tequila and going about her business.

However, it was one of those days where Wes had bought the exact opposite of what she told him to and she had to go to the grocery store to get what she had actually requested.  While she had only intended to go to Target after going to the grocery store, she decided to surprise Wes with a meal from Calliope which was how she ended up seated at the bar, skimming the menu carefully until the waiter comes to take her order.  She orders her and Wes’ favourite meals as her eyes settle on the alcohol menu.  Her finger taps rhythmically against the bar top until she caves and orders a glass of whiskey before someone takes the seat beside her.  She glances over to the seat beside her to find Remi beside her and she is unable to control the raise of her brow that came in response.  Truthfully, Remi is the last person she wants to see considering how things have been between them since her sister revealed her little secret, but she doesn’t have the energy to argue with her right now.  She hasn’t even spoken to her sister since the night of her birthday and she wasn’t even sure that classified as talking to her considering she barely even wished her a Happy Birthday at the event.  But, that clearly didn’t stop Remi from approaching her.  “What?  Are you followin’ me now?”  Blake asks in annoyance as she stares at her sister beside her.  “Or is this jus’ a coincidence?”
