I found a new gun today, Guardian. It was lost in the Nine Realms, of all places. Hidden inside some kind of military cryo pod.

All things considered, it's... Strange. I for one would have never asked for it to be chambered in a round this big. I know I've always been a big fan of hand cannons, but revolvers are an entirely different beast. This is an automatic, and its nearly the same size with the same amount of kick. It almost feels like you'd need to be some kind of cyborg in power armor to use it as a sidearm.

Maybe it wasn't intended for that role in the first place? The ballistics are insane- every shot from this thing feels like I'm touching off a pocket sniper. It takes special ammo, too. I suppose pistols like Eriana's Vow are out there, but this still feels different somehow.

That all explains the scope, I suppose, but why sensorium-linked? Being as I'm so used to traditional glass or red dot sights, I thought a targeting reticle displayed directly over my vision would be harder to get used to than it actually is.

Just... Can't figure out what to make of this, Guardian. Something about how quick it was to pick up gave me a kind of deja vu. It's silly to say, but I just can't shake the feeling I've done this before.

Maybe in another life, or on another world. Who can really say? All I hope is that it'll help me finish the fight.
