The collection, Arresting Images presented by Fugitive Materials, includes over 150 images by photographer, queer social documentarian, and street activist Dona Ann McAdams. The photos give us a rare, up-close view of queer liberation uprisings, ACT UP protests, pro-choice activism, and other elements of everyday queer and feminist life during this period in NYC.

I know intersex people are still getting excluded in a lot of LGBTQIA+ spaces (let alone wider society) and I think it's crucial to show this group is included in the statement that we all deserve equal rights.

every giffer i know does it out of love for the game, but for the record it's not... easy. it's not just slapping the footage in a cap grabber and posting whatever it spits out. "professional" lighting and color grading has only gotten waaay murkier and flatter in the fifteen years i've been giffing on here, so uh. don't repost gifs, please!
