╰┈➤ Venti was very surprised to even hear that you knew about the nation, especially since almost none of the history books in Mondstadt mention the event, let alone that the archons were involved. You knew him on a personal level, so you needed answers.

╰┈➤ At first, he just plays it off as a story in one of his songs.

╰┈➤ You made sure you were in a secluded area with the anemo archon and you started interrogating him. Why did Celestia decide to do what they did? What did he do?

I was afraid of the war spreading, similar to how the archon war had its own consequences in each nation. I had to protect my people.. It's my job as an archon. If I didn't, needless to say that Celestia would be pretty upset with me..." He ended that with a classic giggle to brighten the mood a little.

╰┈➤ You weren't an archon, not even a god of anything, but you understood. It seemed he didn't really have a choice and he had regrets. We all make mistakes.. Right?

╰┈➤ You and Zhongli were on an outing, drinking tea on a mountain top. Just the two of you, when a question came to your mind. Khaenriah. You go ahead and shoot you shot. You ask the big question.. What happened in Khaenri'ah?

╰┈➤ He let out a big, upset sigh. You knew it was bad news, not only from the sigh, but his body language, too. He tensed his shoulders, furrowed his brow, and put a hand on his chin. Perhaps he was just trying to remember? He is the oldest archon after all, he must have a cluttered memory bank.

╰┈➤ After what seemed like forever, he denied answering your question, though you could tell it was eating him up inside. Not that he wanted to tell people, but that there was a more serious aspect to his involvement.

╰┈➤ "...I apologize, but I cannot say. As the god of contracts, it would be quite a bad look to break a contract I signed with my own hand." You suspected as much. Perhaps he regretted signing the contract, maybe not. We may not ever know.

╰┈➤ Raiden Ei wasn't in Khaenri'ah.. That was until her sister, Makoto, went there without her knowing. When she caught wind of it, she departed.

╰┈➤ She wasn't really thrilled when you first mentioned wanting to know about Khaenri'ah, but she knew she had to tell you sooner or later.

╰┈➤ "Khaenri'ah... Was an injustice. The people lost their entire nation due to the heavenly principals. I didn't want to involve myself.. But, when Makoto left, I knew I had to fight for her. But.. Once I arrived, she had passed."

╰┈➤ After that happened in Khaenri'ah, Ei created her puppet, which just ended in her giving up the gnosis to Yae Miko, her familiar.

╰┈➤ She doesn't associate with either Khaenri'ah (in fear of getting in trouble with higherups and the abyss) but also doesn't associate with the gods, in fear or getting too close to another and having them pass away.

╰┈➤ Nahdia would purposefully keep the people of Sumeru away from the truth of the cataclysm, in fear they'd find out about the past Dendro Archon.

╰┈➤ Once you asked about it to her, she started with the past Dendro Archon, the God of the woods.

╰┈➤ "The previous Dendro Archon, the greater lord... Was my mother. She got roped into the war because of her knowledge of their weapons and how to manipulate them. I was so young at the time.. I couldn't leave my mother."

: ̗̀➛ Shinobu was in Liyue for a meetup with Yanfei at the time, so nobody could help get you out. At this point, you were hopeless.. Until, the detective that stopped you from committing crimes came to the cell that you and Itto were staying in with roasted lavender melon. The detective immediately recognized you, but didn't quite understand why you were sharing a cell with Arataki Itto.

: ̗̀➛ You explained your situation to him. How he stopped you from the treasure hoarder life, how the gang recruited you and why, and why you were in there. The detective found the entire thing quite funny, but also was honored that you didn't take after your family because of him. Just because of that interaction, he told a few colleagues of the incident, thinking of how hilarious it was.

: ̗̀➛ The gossip was so juicy that it even reached the Grand Narukami Shrine. Yae had heard of the gossip from one of the shrine maidens and knew exactly what to do. She knew her dear archon, Ei, didn't really have much to do in her plane of euthymia, so she told her the gossip when she visited her.

: ̗̀➛ Ei didn't really believe Yae at first. She really had to see it herself, so of course, Yae brought Ei out of her plane of euthymia just to see what was told to her in the gossipy news. The guards of the jail of course didn't mind their Electro Archon and Head Shrine Maiden entering. It obviously didn't seem suspicious.. Right?

: ̗̀➛ They walked down to the cell where you and Itto were suffering staying for the time being. It definitely startled you and Itto to see those two standing there, asking for the story of how you got there to see if it matched with the rumors on the streets of Inazuma City.

: ̗̀➛ Yae pretty much left Ei to speak to you guys alone, as she had other things to attend to at the shrine. Ei kept asking you two questions. She couldn't comprehend why you were in jail. You two were just trying to express yourself's. Why was that punishable?

: ̗̀➛ She just simply opened the cell door and told you two to follow her outside. Everyone was too distracted with the Electro Archon that they didn't notice 2 himbos following her out the entrance.

: ̗̀➛ Venti was very quick to catch on. Cmon, He's the anemo archon. He's been alive for a while and he knows what it means when somebody won't leave their home for a prolonged amount of time.

: ̗̀➛ He immediately thinks to go to your home to check in on you. He brings some food because he suspects all you've eaten was junk for the past week or two. He gets your favorite dish from Great Hunter and then goes to see you.

: ̗̀➛ When he gets there, he sits you up in your bed and gives you your dish and asks what's wrong.

: ̗̀➛ "Oh, my dearest friend, what's wrong? You can tell me anything and I promise I'll help as much as I can. Believe me!"

: ̗̀➛ If you ever had some sort of setback, she'd remind you that setbacks are normal and not to get angry at yourself for it. On the more tough days, she'd bring you some snacks prepared by Thoma and sing you to sleep.

: ̗̀➛ Though it may seem Keqing is always swamped with work, she could never forget about you or not notice when something is up.

: ̗̀➛ She would most likely be the first to notice if you didn't leave the house for a day. She would find out by asking citizens if they've seen you. After hearing they haven't seen you in a while, she rushes to your house.

: ̗̀➛ When she finds you, she gets pretty angry. Not at you, but at herself. She wishes she could've seen the signs and maybe that if she wasn't always working she could've prevented this.

: ̗̀➛ She goes to your kitchen and makes some homemade soup for you and got you some water and then sat down with you and let you talk about how you felt whenever you were ready.

: ̗̀➛ "It's okay if you need to talk, but also okay if you're not ready to just yet. I miss you and I hope to see you tomorrow if that'd be alright. If you don't feel up for it, i'll come back everyday for you."

He would never admit it, but he shed a tear or two in that moment. Seeing somebody so vulnerable made him so upset, especially since it was you.

: ̗̀➛ Kokomi had a really long day that she never really signed up for. She had so much to do that she was free to go to her own home past 10 PM, but she went to see you first to say goodnight, but also to check on you. She usually sees you during her day, but she didnt, which she thought was odd.

: ̗̀➛ When she saw your expression, she knew exactly what you were thinking. She invited herself into your room and sat down gently on your bed.

: ̗̀➛ She offered to do anything and offered for you to talk to her about what you had been going through and overthinking.

: ̗̀➛ After letting you speak what was on your mind, she offered to you to write down your thoughts, just like how she does. She said how it makes her feel calmer and get out her emotions and that you should try it sometime.

: ̗̀➛ "Even if I'm busy at work, please come see me sometime. I'd love to see you anytime."

: ̗̀➛ Ei never really understood why humans felt such a way, but when she realized that's how you felt, she read dozens of books on the topic to find out what she should do.

: ̗̀➛ She gently rubbed your back the entire time and didn't leave until around midnight. She came to see you for multiple hours a day just to make sure you're getting better. Each time, she'd bring something new for you to try and she'd try to convince you to come out into the world so she can try all of it with you.

: ̗̀➛ Itto would end up freaking out and overreacting. He would yell to everyone to get downstairs and run and the it'd end up being just a thunderstorm.

: ̗̀➛ If it was more, he would really look out for everyone to make sure they're okay.

: ̗̀➛ Hu Tao would be the one telling the midwestern dads to go inside and stop watching the tornados because it's "not safe"

: ̗̀➛ In the severe case, she would help clean up debris in nearby areas. She's be super helpful, even though she's a funeral director

: ̗̀➛ Beidou would be the midwestern dad standing outside watching the tornado that Hu Tao tries to get inside

For Heizou I was really stuck between Once More To See You and Humpty, but I decided on Once More To See You, specifically because of his vision story, regarding his friend. Though this song is more on the topic of love, I focused my decision more on the fact of how such bonds between people can end in you being alone, like how Heizou's friend died in his arms one year after they met at the festival.

For the line "In the rear view mirror, I saw the sun setting on your neck" may refer to how he couldn't look directly at or even see his friend the same way after he admitted to committing crimes and lying to Heizou, but Heizou still keeping the "green pebble" from him under his bed, perhaps just as a way to remember him.

For Kazuha, similar to Heizou, I was a bit stuck on his. I kept changing his, but I settled on Square, specifically the solo piano version.

The song is mostly about a decaying relationship. I connected this to Kazuha by thinking of his friend that passed. Since he is dead, his relationship with Kazuha will never change and he will slowly lose the memory of him.

There is hinting of the singer being anorexic in the song lyrics, so that could be connected to Kazuha as him struggling to do even the small things after his friend passed and him trying to rekindle the vision to keep the image of his old friend with him.

Yelan's was fairly simple for me. I chose Pearl Diver for hers, and for just one single reason.

The song is about always wanting more of something. This something for Yelan could very well be information. In the chasm quest, it could be information on her relative. Outside of that, it could very well be information about others, or even herself.

Jean's was slightly done without me thinking, but I do not regret which song I chose for her, which was Old Friend.

If you read Lisa's lore, you'd know she has a curse that shortened her life span. Though the song has no mention of a friend that has passed away, I thought some of the lyrics could maybe apply to her, but it may be a stretch.

For the Traveler's, I had changed last minute. Theirs is Class of 2013 but specifically the audiotree live version. They have no mention in their parents in the storyline but it could just possibly refer to missing family and the nostalgia of being with them when you were younger.

One of the last lines "I'm chasing for the other girls to persue" could refer to them constantly wanting what others have and trying to become better and constantly wanting validation, perhaps.

Diluc's. I chose Dan the Dancer mostly because of one line. "He liked her more than life itself"

There was a slight reference in the Golden Apple Archipelago quest where Xinyan said "The person that lives in that manor (the winery) must love life" and Paimon was just sorta like "Yep.. For sure!" which led me to decide this song.

My decision for Venti's just felt right. Carry me out. The song is literally about carrying out the singers casket, as there's suicidal ideations built into the lyrics, and as we all know, Venti took the form of his friend, who had passed away, which really hurt Venti, but also gave him his seat in Celestia.

Considering how Venti reacted when Signora stole his gnosis, he probably doesn't care as much about things as much as a result of it and he just wants to get rid of that memory of his friend impaled with the arrow.

In Everyone, It mentions how the singer didn't immediately get support for her career, just like Hu Tao and how people don't respect her attitude towards death.
