“You’re shy when I tease you,” she murmured, winking at him with a flirty expression. “It’s cute.”

“I told you i am not cute.. when will you finally understand it.. jeez..” Rubbing the back of his neck he averted his gaze from her. Ayato just never understood how she was able to make him feel flustered like that. Especially that wink just now. What was she thinking? Ayato didn’t get it but if it was anyone else he would have already left. “You are lucky i like you so much..”

“I have to admit, watching you try to flirt is amusing. You seem so shy about it that I don’t know how to respond.”

Ayato just flicked her nose at that comment. “Since when am i shy?”

“Adding the word ‘trying’ onto it would imply that you don’t think you’re succeeding. Why’s that?”

“Well you have to tell me.. i thought trying to flirt with you might.. make things more itneresting. You see?”

“I know i didn’t have to.. you just looked so happy when you saw it... and  i like it when you are happy.”

“Ah! W-Well you see..!” The truth is all he was wearing were his boxers so he didn’t move out of his bed at all. His eyes widened for a moment. “The fuck? hy would you want to arrest me? Get out of here. Stupid.”

She shut her eyes as well, grinning slightly. As always, he was being a total sweetheart, and she felt quite content to just be here with him. “All right.” Ayato wasn’t exactly the most cuddly or touchy-feely person, but despite that, he entertained her whims and showed his affections. “I like the sound of that. Actually, I don’t want to go out, period.”

“My words. There is no need to go outside anyway..” he huffed. “Always asking me to do the small jobs. I need to speak to Tatara later but that guy can wait.” Of course Ayato listened to Tatara mostly but for jobs like that everyone could do it. Sooner or later somebody else will do it in his place. Brushing his nosetip against hers he then slowly let go of her before he sat himself down onto the couch.
