Does anyone know how to make the rook move diagonally? Can get bishop to work fine but I think the rook must be bugged, is it just me?

The pawns are so glitchy. Can't move backwards, can't attack how they move, sometimes it'll register that my pawn only moved one square when I moved it two and my opponent will capture it anyway :/ at least it's not as bad as checkers lmao
