Oh, the cleverness of me.

it still blows my mind but i’m engaged?? to the love of my life??? getting married in just over a year?????? holy shit never thought that would happen honestly.

i’ve been reflecting on who i was a few years ago and where i was in life and i’m just honestly so much happier. realizing how much i want to just hug the girl i was in high school and tell her that she’s enough, never too much, and she will find someone who loves every piece of her exactly as it is. she’ll have the most amazing friends and find a career that she loves even after some bumps. she’ll go on amazing trips and spend them with her favorite people. it’ll be okay.

im almost finally graduating, i just have 12 weeks of student teaching left and then im finally done with undergrad. it’s been a long ass road but im finally getting there and i love my career path.

i just went to my first concert since the pandemic started and it was to see harry styles in nashville with my disney roommate who i hadn’t seen in forever and it was so amazing. i cried during wmyb thinking about how long he and the other boys have been part of my life and how much of an impact they had on me.

i haven’t seen my family in a year and a half because of covid. i miss my sisters more than anything in the world and if i think about it for too long i cry and im too tired for that tonight so i’ll leave it at that. i’ve been a barista since i moved back to indy and a supervisor at my store for like 8 months now? loved it at first and there’s still moments when i do but people are fucking mean and it’s exhausting. but i have the sweetest little cat who loves me and makes my nights better when i get home.
