this is like 100% petty all things considered but i just can’t wait until some of u learn that it is absolutely normal for people of any age to refer to their dads as “daddy” in many parts of the south like it isn’t a red flag there. 60 year old women in my family still refer to their dads as “daddy.” and btw i think anyone should be allowed to call their own fathers whatever they want without someone either making it nasty or being accusatory like don’t you get tired of making ppl uncomfortable for no reason

I think you should tell people how important they are to you not because they could leave at any moment, but because they’re here now, and it’s worth saying.

once again thinking about the time in high school english class (second language) when we were reading a text about wildlife preservation or something and one of the species of birds mentioned were boobies. and our teacher was like yes this is a funny word but it is actually a type of bird. and to prove it, with the whitescreen projector turned on for the whole class to see, opened google images on the computer and searched “boobies”
