I’m personally hoping the chapter 5 boss is not Asgore because a. he’s already a boss in undertale and I don’t think he needs that kind of focus seeing as he’s a. more of a minor character in deltarune b. a man and I really don’t want another male character too gain all the focus of the fandom again and/or cause more hatred for toriel and c. he makes me uncomfortable every time he’s been on screen in this game

#i don’t want a rehash of undertale in general #like I see the patience soul attacks but i’m hoping the parallels stay thematic and don’t end up too identical to undertale #i don’t want another flowey because flowey’s personality and lived experience is unique to what happened to him in undertale #anyway #it just generally doesn’t make sense to me to battle asgore because even though he’s horrid toriel I don’t see him purposefully hurting kri #hoping the boss is something else #deltarune #ceru rambles
