Noting the dates of this tour, and being in Canada at the time herself, I wonder if the tour helped push Meghan into leaking their relationship.  It must have drove her crazy jealously watching the immense popularity of the Cambridge’s while she was secretly dating Harry and couldn’t tell anyone.  Then lo and behold, a month later he comes their big announcement.  The timing seems suspect. 

And extrapolating that further @youhavebeenmarkled - that might also be where the root of Meg’s open dislike of Catherine and the children stems from.  

I hadn’t connected the Canada tour dates to the sudden forced announcement of the harkles relationship, when everyone went “who?” And scratched their heads, baffled….. great observation.
