I’m enraged, I’m upset, I’m terrified, and I wish I could say I was surprised. This invasion started when Crimea was invaded eight years ago. This new assault is just phase 3, after Crimea and the Donbas. Putin has made it clear he wants to take all of Ukraine. He has made it clear that he believes Ukraine and Ukrainians do not have the right to exist. 

In short: shit is going to get bad. I was able to speak to my uncle, an aunt, and one of my cousins before I went to bed. I’m hearing mixed things about whether or not my hometown of Lviv has been hit, but I’ve been able to confirm that my family is okay for now.

Please advocate for Ukraine. Call your reps/MPs and demand sanctions and military aid. Double and triple check your sources before posting anything - Russia propaganda is everywhere. This multi-year case cost Boies, Schiller, and Flexnor (BSF) tens of millions of dollars in pr, travel expenses, lost legal fees, consultants paid, etc…. Zoomla estimates the firm has revenue of $117million and 618 employees. Yes, $117 million is a lot of money but not enough to absorb all of VG’s legal costs and to continue the firms other charitable activities. Especially when so many of its lawyers are leaving, including according to Reuters, most of its London office.

My question is who is really paying Ms. Giuffre’s legal bills. She has ongoing cases against Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard law professor, Ghislaine Maxwell, the Epstein estate and other high profile individuals. BSF initially represented her in the defamation suit against Dershowitz, until he had them disqualified in 2019. She is now represented by Cooper & Kirk.

2/2 shouldn't he if the rules laid down can so easily be subverted. The HMRC and Home Office's criteria for UK domicile is much more hardline about what that means. I can't pretend to be domiciled in the UK for almost 2.5yrs when they can easily trace my life in that same timeframe. They need proof that i actually live there and simply having a UK address is not good enough, but hey it's good enough to make me a counsellor of state!!!
