Ray’s ‘Sonic Mania’ waiting animation is based on an early image of Sonic, originally used for ‘Sonic 1′. Classic Sonic can also be seen making this pose in ‘Sonic Generations’ result screen.

But most of all just fucking so god damn glad we have a main character who **isn't** a boring, pathetic blank slate propped up by everyone around them going "ohhhh you're so good, you're the best!!!" like every other gacha out there. If you're going to write a story, you HAVE to have a character! They're not automatically relatable just because I got to pick a gender and then two or three lines of dialogue.
