Came Back Different Tournament

This is a tournament for characters who died and came back... different. This is not only coming back wrong, it includes any as long as they were different than before.

Send in an ask with the character's name, fandom, a photo, propaganda. Submissions must include everything up top to be added! It does not need to be long but tell us why they deserve to win. The propaganda a character has will determine if they get into the tournament.

I'll be doing a 16 or 32 bracket to keep it workable. Please submit one character each ask.

Jason, a human kid with physical and mental disabilities, was mobbed and drowned by other kids/teenagers and came back as an undead revenge creature to revenge the death of his mom who was murdered as she revenged the death of her son. Neon Genesis Evangelion

She didn't just come back different, she came back different in two ways. 10 years before the start of the series, she performed the Contact Experiment with EVA Unit-01, which resulted in her death as her soul was absorbed into Unit-01 and her body turned into LCL liquid.

Her husband Gendo Ikari used her physical remains to clone her, and tried to return her soul to this cloned body. This failed, and the clones became Rei Ayanami (whenever Rei dies, she's replaced with a new clone).

Her soul remained in Unit-01, and can take control of it to protect her son Shinji.

HAL came back different twice.

Dave's screwdriver lobotomy and being abandoned around Jupiter damaged some of his systems. When he was reactivated he needed rehabilitation and speech therapy and he never got his confidence back.

He came back different AGAIN when the ship was destroyed and Dave changed him into an immortal demigod.

Garmadon, Ninjago!

I'd argue this man comes back different at least twice, but the more prominent one is definitely his stint at Emperor Garmadon where we get to see him dismember someone onscreen :D He didn't do that before. (The reason I argue twice is cause of his disappearance in the pilot and then reappearing in season 1 with an extra set of arms)

Before he "died" by getting half of his body crushed under a giant boulder, he was such a sweetheart who would help old grannys and stuff. After he came back, he was the reason for 95% of the shinobi world's problems and a MAJOR driver of almost all plot points in Naruto Shippuden.
