THIS IS NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THE 1989 PLOTS IâVE SEEN ON HERE, BUT I LIKE THE ALBUM, I LIKE THE SONGS. SO I TRIED. MENTIONS OF ILLNESS, WAR AND MAJOR INJURIES BELOW.Â
The only thing [muse a] and [muse b] have in common is the lifelong dream of moving from their hometowns to New York City. Other than that, theyâre completely different. Until they both by chance realised that they barely had any money to survive in the City of Dreams but were too passionate about going to give up their fantasy, they didnât even know the other existed. It was only when [muse a] wrote a âROOMMATE NEEDEDâ forum and [muse b] replied that they started talking. Now theyâre living in the big city, in an apartment way below standard with nothing but change in their pockets and big but dying dreams that drove them to NYC in the first place. Oh and there is just one more thing, they hate each other.Â
Set in a prestigious private school, [muse a] is at the top of his game. He has everybody wrapped around his little finger; girls want to do him and guys want to be him, and that doesnât exclude the teachers either. Heâs been through everybody there is available to him three times over and naturally, heâs getting a little bored. However, when new girl [muse b] arrives on the first day back after Christmas, it seems as though his prayers have been answered. Sheâs gorgeous, sweet, shy, wrapped up in innocence and [muse a]âs new obsession. If only he knew that itâs nothing more than a facade. The reality of it is that [muse b]Â was Queen of the halls back in her old school and sheâs just as good, if not better, at playing [muse a]âs game than he is. Darling, sheâs a nightmare dressed like a daydream.
[Muse a] is the daughter of one of the biggest senior stockbrokers in the city and has never had to lift a finger in her life. [Muse b] is a junior stockbroker for the same company who dropped out of high school, isnât very good at his job and is on the verge of being fired by [muse a]âs father. It is the annual New Years party, coincidentally being thrown at [muse a]âs house and [muse b]Â isnât having a great time. For the most part heâs been hiding out in a random bathroom until a suitable time to go home occurs. That bathroom just so happens to be [muse a]âs private, en-suite and itâs fair to say she gets the fright of her life when she finds one of her Dadâs random employees drunk out of his face on champagne in there. Deciding itâs funny rather above anything else, [muse a] tucks him away in the spare room for the night and then helps him sneak out the next morning. Before he knows it, [muse b] finds himself facing a new year of secretive midnight dates, fights and too many feelings with none other than his bosses daughter.Â
[Muse a] is two things - a trainee surgeon and the ex of [muse b]. People know her/him as the ex of [muse b] because itâs a small town, people talk and out of the two of them, [muse b] was definitely the social butterfly. Itâs been nine months since the break-up and [muse a] hasnât heard from [muse b] since the break-up which happened over the phone and also he/she hasnât had much time to think about the other because of their work. One night at the hospital, [muse a] gets news of a severe casualty with numerous victims coming into the operating theatre. A car skidded straight across a motorway, smashing into several other cars and then collided into a tree. When [muse a] gets called into theatre to help stabilize one of the casualties, he/she is more than shocked to see [muse b] lying there, semi-conscious and almost unrecognizable. The month it takes [muse b] to recover with [muse a]âs help brings back more than [muse b]âs health, it also brings back the good, the bad and the damn right ugly memories of their relationship.Â
ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS STAY.â¤
Itâs no secret that [muse a] wears the trousers in [muse a] and [muse b]âs relationship. If [muse a] wanted something to happen, [muse b] would make sure it did. That was until it came down to [muse b]âs dream of travelling the world. After tons of arguments and sleepless nights, [muse b] decided that they werenât going to let [muse a] win this one and went ahead with their plans to take a gap year. Now a year has passed and [muse b] is back in town after standing on every continent on the globe, all they want to do is see [muse a] but [muse a] refuses to let them back into their life. After days of trying to get in touch with them, by chance [muse b] bumps into [muse a] in town and thatâs when [muse a] has no choice but to tell the truth. Theyâre sick, theyâve been sick for a while and donât know how much time they have left, which is why they were so desperate for [muse b] not to go.Â
[Muse a] and [muse b] were both teenage Disney Channel stars who grew up in the spotlight together. They never worked together directly but both had huge feature shows on the network and quickly became the most famous celebrities of their generation. Just like every other naive star who has too many people wanting money off of them and not enough caring about their well-being, [muse a] and [muse b] were pushed to their limits and even infamously pitched against each other as âsworn enemies and rivalsâ. It happened so much that the two of them even started to believe it. Now both of them have moved on to more mature things, they couldnât be more different. [Muse a] is Hollywoodâs golden girl/boy and [muse b] is a the good girl/boy gone bad, more famous for their drinking habits than their acting. But when the two of them are cast as the main roles in a new movie, meaning they have to spend hours upon hours everyday with one another for months (even years) and [muse a] realizes just how bad [muse b] has become, they decide to do everything in their power to get them back on the right pathâŚNo matter how many insults [muse b] throws their way whilst trying to do so.
It is the cliche story of exes who miss one another. [Muse a] and [muse b] ended their dated all the way through high school and broke up just a few days before graduation. Itâs now the summer before everybody goes off to university/college and things are already taking their toll on [muse a]. Deep down, she knows that it was her fault the split happened in the first place. She was always accusing him of things, pointing fingers and wouldnât believe him when he tried to say otherwise. [Muse b] is still heartbroken but trying to move on by throwing himself into summer parties and meeting future college friends online. However, when [muse b] finally arrives at his university/college dorm ready to start a new and finds that [muse a] made a last minute transfer just to be with him and make things right, will he forgive her?
[Muse a] and [muse b] were childhood friends who drifted apart which is nothing unusual. Nowadays, [muse a] is the captain of the cheer-leading squad at her school, an elitist sports school who are undefeated in everything. She has a reputation for being ruthless when it comes to her squad and making sure they win. [Muse b] is also the captain of her cheer team, but the difference is nobody has barely even heard of her squad and the school they belong to is basically on the verge of closing down. Since the beginning of term, [muse b] has busted her ass to make sure that her team qualifies for the annual cheer competition and the hard work paid off! She finally got her team there. However, the happiness is only temporary when [muse b] makes it clear that sheâs going to do everything in her power to sabotage âthe new team on the blockâ. The claws are out and neither side is about to back down soon.
