Feeling stagnant? Come with me...
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️Hello all! I’ve decided to share this tip with you that I do that you can implement it on your journeys.
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️This all started back in early December when one of my siblings was struggling in her job interviews. She felt lost, scared, and even lost hope. That’s when I decided to teach her about flipping her thoughts. I’ve told her that replaying the old story can continue this cycle, and to break it, she needs to change her thoughts. Then she did the tip that I’m about to tell you, and days later, she had 2 more job interviews, and feels more confident in securing a job.
Science behind flipping your thoughts
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️One of the most common sayings, at least on loablr, shiftblr, (more blrs…but you got the point, right?), is change your thoughts. Well, here’s why you should do it.
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️Have you all heard of neuroplasticity? I’m assuming, based on the number of posts you’ve all scrolled through, you all seem familiar with it.
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️Well, when we stick to a positive thought through repetition, your brain rewires from that previous negative thought you had and turns it positive.
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️Let’s have an example, shall we?
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️You’re studying for an important test. Finals week is coming soon. And all of these negative thoughts are consuming you. Well, if you think positively about the test, how the exam is so easy, and you know you’ll pass, Finals week around the corner doesn’t seem so stressful. These positive thoughts ease your mind, and confidence will arise (see that hard bar I just made, aren’t I so cool ;) )
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️Ok, I’ve been stalling it too long now. You must have been very anxious waiting for the result, or you just skipped to this part (it’s ok, I’m not gonna judge).
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️Here’s how I did it:
Step 1: Have a piece of paper and a writing utensil out. Now, I prefer to do this on paper, but typing is ok too.
Step 2: You’re going to write every single thing that you are thinking negatively about what you are currently manifesting. Whether that’s physical changes or having a good grade, write it all out. It can be a list or, if you’re feeling fancy, a few sentences.
Step 3: Then, write the opposite of the negative thoughts that you’ve written down.
For all my besties manifesting physical changes, for example, if you wrote down, “Manifesting physical has always been slow for me,” replace it with, “Manifesting physical changes always have been within the speed of light; it’s so easy for me to manifest physical changes.”
Step 4: After all of the positive thoughts you wrote down, you’re going to scribble out/cross out all of your negative thoughts. It’s the old story. It doesn’t apply to you anymore.
Step 5 (optional): This is what I do sometimes, but if you still feel a little anxious, meditate or listen to calm subliminals. We want to approach this calmly and also with a clear mind.
͏˚˖𓍢ִ໋☕️ Hope that all of you reading this can use this tip! Wishing you nothing but success!
