I feel like a lot of people dont pick up on that: when youre texting with someone and they ask you a question theyre probably very much aware that they can simply google it. The reason theyre asking you instead is because they like talking with you and want you to explain it instead

Hey what's something that you were never taught how to do at home, purely because your parents were not aware of it as a thing that you're supposed to do? Like not just that your parents didn't see that something that's obvious to them would specifically need to be taught, but situations where you're already grown and suddenly discover that you've been using a blender incorrectly your entire life because somehow you were raised by two people who had no idea how to use a blender and made some wild and completely wrong guesses about it, and you just grew up thinking that it's just supposed to be making that noise.
