🏕️ Many people think the war is over, but for us, it hasn't. It may have disappeared from the news screens, but the truth is that the danger persists, displacement and forced migration are still a part of our lives, and fear is our constant companion.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 I cannot go to work or provide for my family's needs because I stay in the tent to protect and care for my children in these difficult circumstances.

🍼 My youngest daughter desperately needs milk. 👶 She also needs diapers and clothes. 💔 I am unable to provide these basic necessities for her.

🙏 I am writing these words and appealing to anyone who can help. Any support, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in my children's lives and give us hope during these difficult times.

Hello, I'm Sharif Al-Amoudi from Gaza. I'm married and have twins, Hussam and Ahmed, who are five months old. They were born after four attempts at artificial insemination. My wife and I came to Egypt in June for the IVF procedure, and she became pregnant, but we were stranded in Egypt after the war. I was employed in Gaza, and my wife was a mathematics teacher. Now we have no income after everything was destroyed. My twins were born in April, and one of them (Ahmed) has two holes in his heart and also suffers from optic nerve damage as a result of being in the neonatal intensive care unit.

He was given artificial oxygen and needs special care, surgery, and numerous treatments at great expense. He now needs special milk and medication. I also suffer from a slipped disc and cannot work hard in Egypt. I need surgery that costs 2000 euros. I live in a rented apartment that costs me 200 euros a month. You are our only hope. Please help me for the sake of my children. 💔🙏🍉

My mother is in extremely critical condition. Today, the doctors told us that she urgently needs treatment before her condition worsens even further. Every passing hour brings us closer to losing her.

If my mother cannot receive the treatment she desperately needs, we may lose her forever.

I held a diploma in international secretarial studies and was about to start a job to help support my family. But the war shattered not only our home but also my hopes and dreams. We’ve been displaced six times and now live in a tent that offers no shelter from the bitter cold or the ever-looming fear.

My young children face relentless hunger that weakens their fragile bodies and a cold that knows no mercy for their small hearts. Each day, their cries for warmth and food grow louder, and each day, I feel more helpless to provide them with even the basics of life💔😭😭

I appeal to your humanity, to your compassion. We need your help to survive, to find a safe shelter, and to feed my children. Your generosity could be the reason Muhammad and Hala continue to live and find hope amidst this darkness🥹

My story and hope for survival😭

I am Israa Alwan I am 23 years old, a young woman who once had big dreams and was ready to achieve them. After years of hard work and study, I finally received my degree in Early Childhood Education. It was an indescribable joy, knowing I was about to start my journey as a teacher, to help shape young minds and walk alongside them in their first steps toward knowledge.🥺🧑🏻‍🎓🧑🏻‍💻

But my dream didn’t last. The war came and turned 🇵🇸my life upside down. My home, once a safe haven, is now rubble, and I’m left with only a few belongings and broken dreams. Now, I have no home, no job, and no sense of security. I move from one place to another with my husband, carrying my unborn child, searching for shelter to protect us from the cold winter and the scorching summer.😭😭🍉

-bagged greens are cheaper than pre-made salads

-taco bell is NOT worth the money anymore. 1/4 cup mayo, 1/4 cup sour cream, 3 tblspoons pickled jalapenos+2tblspoons of the jar liquid, 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder salt+pepper. all in your blender. creamy jalapeno sauce

-dont quit your job unless you have a bunch of job interviews lined up immediately after

-use resources. food bank, unemployment, housing assistance, financial aid, etc. yes there will be paperwork. but Do It

-dont stay awake longer than 20 hours. you Will start to become impulsive and cranky. resting for 20 minutes is better than trying to stay awake

-for every 2 hours you spend looking up close at screens, spend 20 minutes looking at something far away from you. stretch your wrists a lot

-dont do that yoga stretch where you roll your head around your shoulders. youre grinding down the joints in your neck

-be nice to your friends, bullying them as a joke gets old. if you need a ride somewhere at least offer them gas money

-brush your teeth at any time of the day but especially before you sleep. dont snack in bed if you can help it. make your bed the Clean Teeth Zone. keep floss picks by your bed

-dont tell your boss youre adhd/autism/depression/suicidal. dont trust your coworkers with that. you NEVER know how people will take it and its none of their business

-train your pets to go to the front door when they hear a fire alarm

freeze half of a big meal into smaller portions instead of getting sick of it and letting it go bad, then your freezer has lots of options to thaw for supper
