Role definition

Headmate creatures are not often full headmates. They often take on the forms of animals or other creatures. They usually are confined to the innerworld, unable to front. However, they are usually a type of morale booster for those in headspace, providing comfort, boosting moods, and helping to liven the headspace. Others may refer to them as NPCs as well, as they usually do not have the same level of self that fully formed headmates to.
