Townies general hcs
Gurney, Jerry and Otto tried to form a band once. Gurney being the writer and vocalist of the songs, Jerry on the guitar and Otto on the drums. This idea didn't play well because Jerry is too arrogant to accept any of Gurney's ideas. And he doesn't know how to play a guitar. And even if he knew, he wouldn't have one anymore. Otto broke it.
Otto rocks at playing drums. It's like a therapy to him.
Despite claiming that he's the smartest shit on the world, Jerry suffers from self-esteem issues in regards to his intelligence, asking himself if dropping out was really a smart idea. He keeps saying to himself that yes, it was the smartest decision and that he's smarter than anyone at that school. But deep down he still questions his decision.
Altho Duncan would never admit it out loud, he's jealous of Zoe. Not only because she was the one who got with Jimmy but also because she was the one that got another chance at her education. He wanted to have that back too, he regrets dropping out.
Clint is surprisingly observant. He pays attention to all of his clique-mates attitudes and can easily presume what they will say or do.
Leon used to enjoy fantasy too, and Duncan knows it. When they were kids they roleplayed together as "the warrior and the wizard", "the dragon and the cyclops", "the barbarians", "the brave knight and the evil princess kidnapper" and all that. Duncan tells Leon about every media he consumes that has fantasy. Comics, mangas, books, shows, movies, videogames, rpgs, everything. And Leon enjoys hearing about it even tho he's not that invested anymore.
Every other townie can annoy Otto in a unique and specific way. Gurney talking about girls? yes. Clint insisting on beat some rich kids when he's not in the mood? yes. Edgar caring and asking how was his day? yes. Omar talking about how no one takes responsability for anything when Omar himself doesn't take responsability for his acts? yes. Zoe talking about her home life with her mother? yes. Duncan opening his mouth to talk about G&G? yes. Leon wanting to watch TV? yes. Jerry not shuting up about being the smartest? fucking yes. Deep down he loves them tho.
Edgar is like the father of the townies, but so is Omar when Edgar isn't around. The difference being that Edgar advises them not to do stupid shit, while Omar incites them to do stupid shit, and when it goes wrong he tells Edgar "I told em not do it".
Gurney's love from music came from when he was a child and heard "Bohemian Rhapsody" for the first time. Since then his favorite band is Queen. (good taste).
Gurney enjoys cheesy romantic movies even when he's watching them alone.
Since Duncan is interested in history (for the barbarians sake) Zoe teachs him what she's been learning on school.
Even after breaking his collar bone 3 times and his "buttbone", Duncan still tries to do the most radical extreme bike stunts 2020 and he fails every single time. Jerry films it and post on the internet.
Jerry wasn't lying about starting his own business on summer. For a while he stole stuff from the abandoned spencer shipping and sold most of them to Mr. Mihailovich.
Otto hates the greasers because Peanut called him ugly.
Leon organizes movie nights with his clique. They all go to his place to watch a random pirated bad quality movie. It's squeezy there but they enjoy themselves. He even invited Jimmy once.
Leon is the least chaotic of the group, he rarely bothered with students. He is generally chill.
Whenever Otto feels angry or sad at life he goes to Duncan's home to spend the night. They spend their time mostly laughing at stupid shit, playing smash bros, listening to music or just arguing over stuff like "dude wtf u drank my cola MY COLA tf is wrong with u".
Edgar loves old school movies. His favorites being the classic Star Wars saga.
Leon's favorite show is The Simpsons.
Omar and Zoe like to hunt rats in infested places for fun. No, Omar doesn't eat them.
Clint loves when people call him Henry. But no one ever does.
Clint is fascinated by motorized vehicles, he stole a cop bike once. It's still on his garage.
They all love and support each other.
