Everything i read about the new Odyssey movie just pretty much confirm that Nolan saw Odysseus and went "what if he was an USAmerican soldier felt bad about killing babies in Iraq and so now is haunted by nightmares and fear his wife will not hug him anymore". And like, if I wanted that, I would just watch an USAmerican military propaganda movie.

i have been noticing recently that people younger than me are too sensitive, while people older than me are not sensitive enough. which, if i'm correct, should be taken as a sign that the total reality penetration vortex is operating as intended -- within as few as five or six generations we may very well be producing babies who can directly perceive the wound at the heart of the world

I watched a camrip of Backrooms and thought "ooh I wonder if they're ever going to explain the mysterious shadow people that keep wandering through the backrooms." Until I realized those were just theater audience members getting up from their seats.
