Problem: I can’t leave kudos again.

Beginner: This is a second/third/fourth Kudos

Advanced: This is my second/third/fortieth time reading this, I still love it so much. Here are a few new things I noticed. I like the way you personally do x, y, z compared to other authors I’ve read (in this ship/genre/fandom).

Problem: I don’t know what to say :(

Beginner: Just list what you did to read this fic. “I stayed up late reading this”, “I read this on a crowded train”, “this kept me company while sick”. 

Advanced: X,Y,Z parts made me get butterflies, and I had a physical reaction to this part of the story, I squealed outloud when characters did x,y,z. I blushed at this part. I laughed out loud here. Whatever. 

Problem: I’m embarrassed to leave a comment (what if I annoy the author?)

Beginner: Short answer: you won’t EVER annoy the author (unless you’re needlessly mean) But to start, be generic, you don’t have to spill your soul in the comments section. “I liked this” “I enjoyed reading this” “nice fic”.

Advanced: This really meant a lot to me that you wrote this. This is something I feel like I’ve always wanted to read. This fic hit me in all the right places. Etc. 

Problem: I don’t know how to express myself/my experience 

Hogwarts House Wallpapers ❤️💚💙💛

I’m sure I’ll end up making SEVERAL different versions of wallpapers based on Hogwarts houses. This is only round 1.

It’s not merely Yuuri himself that inspires this. It’s Hiroko, and the easy way she adopted Victor into her home like a third child. It’s Toshiya, serious and soft-spoken when he asks Victor his intentions, but wildly affable and paternal once the lines are settled. It’s Mari, and the moments when Victor sees the quiet bond between her and her little brother, despite the years and differences between them. 

Sometimes, when Yuuri is talking, he turns his head just right and Victor has a flashing thought - a little boy with wide, dark eyes. A little girl with Yuuri’s shy smile who blushes across her nose like her папа. Suddenly, it’s something Victor wants, even though it was never on his road map before.

Victor’s been in love before - or he thought he was - but it was never like this. His love for Yuuri is more than Eros; it’s beyond Agape. It’s a love that sees possibilities and doesn’t seek to destroy, but to create. 

There’s a future between them and Victor can feel it in every touch of their hands, and nothing is impossible anymore.

Tododeku week - day 5: confession

Izuku has his back turned when the bell chimes, happily announcing the arrival of a customer. Usually, things at the café are dead during this time, but since it’s located near UA, the university down the road, they usually have students coming in at all hours. It also helps that the coffee shop is hero-themed, which means they have a big market for comic book fans and the like. Posters, movies, figurines—you name it, you’ll most certainly find it here.

Izuku knows that’s what made him choose to work here.

“Psst!”

From the counter, Uraraka attempts to catch his attention with a not-so-subtle—but usual bubbly—wave. From what he knows, she’s a business student at UA and has another part-time job aside from this. An assistant instructor at a dojo, if he remembers correctly.

He raises his eyebrows at her, not even pausing with his cleanup of the espresso machine. If their manager catches them slacking on the job, he’s going to stop bringing his cats to work—and that’s just unacceptable.

“Pretty boy is here,” she mouths at him, her face rosy with excitement.

Immediately, his eyes widen in surprise, feeling the blood rushing to his cheeks. Peeking discretely to the corner Uraraka’s pointing at, Izuku spots a telltale head of red and white and he simultaneously melts and kind of dies inside.

I got carried away painting that Tom Holland photoshoot but with Todoroki (the flames on the left side, ya know)
