I was reading Francel's Dragon Song war tale and it fucks me up so bad.... Puts so much new context behind Haurchefant personally saving him at witch drop. Like that's not just a friend that's basically Haurchefant's little brother!! that's the 6 year old at the party who came outside and gave him pudding when he wasn't allowed inside... that's the 11 year old he saved from kidnappers when he was just 17... he would have been no bigger than Alphinaud...
