A loud knock jolts you from your focus, your stationery practically shakes from the force. You murmur to yourself, “What now?” Irritation evident in your voice as you push yourself out of your seat at your desk and head towards your dorm door.

You’re met with a very groggy, very out-of-it Satoru.

“Satoru? What are you doing here — why have you got gauze in your mouth?”

He pushed past you with a groan and flopped down onto your bed as if he owned it. “Just got my wisdom teeth removed, sweets.” His words were slurred, almost incoherent. You stared at him, pondering why on earth your fuck buddy was coming to your dorm out of all places after just having his teeth extracted.

“Aren't you going to cuddle me?”

You snorted at his garbled words, the idea being so foreign that the only reasonable reaction was to laugh. “Satoru, we never cuddle after you visit, we high five and one of us leaves after getting dressed.” The white-haired man’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets at your words, “But… why would I not want to cuddle my girlfriend?”

You moved closer to him, sitting at the edge of the bed and rubbing your hand up and down his shin. “We aren’t dating, Toru. We just hook up sometimes, remember?” You tried to sound as kind as possible, lowering your voice so as not to embarrass him. Satoru however just shook his head, drool slipping from the sides of his mouth as he sat up.

“Nuh uh, we are dating because I’m sooo in love with you, pretty girl.” He tried to smirk but his cotton-stuffed mouth prevented that, instead, he ended up looking a tiny bit lopsided.

You froze, eyes wide, mouth agape at his confession. “You don’t mean that, you’re practically high from how many meds you’re on.” You tried to get up but he grabbed your hand and pulled you back onto the bed with him. “No, I love you.” He repeated in a sing-song voice, nuzzling his head into your hand.

“My girlfriend, let me love you...” You felt him starting to fall limp against your hand, eyes wavering as he fought a drug-induced sleep. You signed, leaning closer in to press a soft kiss to his damp forehead. “We can talk about whatever that was tomorrow, Toru.”

“Let me love you… don’t you give up, nah-nah-nah…”

“You listen to Justin Bieber?”

“Suguru played it in the car, told me to serenade you…”

And with that, he was asleep.

"Ba!" A little voice yelled, causing MEGUMI FUSHIGURO to turn around.

He stood at the counter, having been warming a small frozen pack of breastmilk from the freezer when that tiny voice interrupted him. voice that belonged to his sweet, 6 month old daughter.

She sat on the floor a few feet away, cooing with her sweet, gummy smile, arms lifted up to him.

A gentle smile pulled at his mouth. "Hi, sweetie..." he said softly as he took a step closer, bending down and lifting her into his arms, "you're milk's almost ready, 'kay?"

She squealed and smacked his chest with her tiny hand, then reached to his face, grabbing at his lip.

Megumi let her grab at him and ignorerd her yells, taking the small bag of milk out of a bowl of warm water and transferring it to one of her bottles.

His daughter caught a glimpse of the bottle, her attention immediately caught, to which she proceeded to try leaning towards the sink, swiping at the air in attempts of grabbing her next meal.

"Give me one second." Megumi said gently, ignoring her whines as he twisted the bottle cap on.

He lifted the bottle to her, to which she greedily grabbed it, latching on and letting out a small, satisfied grunt.

A small smirk of amusement formed on his lips as he worked to cradle her in his arm. "You're so impatient. Reminds me of your mother."

"Talking smack about me to my own daughter now, Megs?"

Megumi turned his head to the hallway, where you were walking out of, a playful smile on your face. "Hi love. Of course not."

You laughed softly and stepped over to him, leaning your head on his shoulder and watching your daughter feed, "Good. Now let me take her."

You moved right in front of Megumi, trying to scoop the baby from beneath, but she fussed kicking her little leg out and fisted Megumi's shirt with one of her hands, holding onto him desperately.

While you pouted and gave up, your husband chuckled.

"It's not fair y'know. I'm the one the did all the work of growing her and stuff. She should like me better." You turned, walking over to the living room as Megumi followed.

"She does like you."

You both sat on the couch, shoulders brushing.

"...wish it felt like it." You mumbled, arms crossed and looking off to the side, the opposite direction of him.

"Don't talk like that." Megumi spoke softly, reach his free arm around you, pulling close and giving a light squeeze.

"But...sometimes it feels like I did something wrong. I thought babies were supposed to be clingy to their mother, but she's...not." You explained quietly, toying with the sleeve of your shirt.

"Just because sometimes she wants to stay with me, doesn't mean she doesn't love you. I don't think you see it, but she really does love being around you." Your husband explained gently, "And don't you like once she sees me you dont have to carry her anymore?"

A resigned breath fell from your lips, head tipping to the side and resting on his shoulder, eyes down on your daughter. "Yeah..." You mumbled, cracking a small smile, a familiar, soft warmth arising in you chest at his words of support.

The baby in Megumi's arms let out a small grunt, tiny fingers wrapped around the teat of the now empty bottle. Her arms lowered to the side, tossing it to the ground.

Her attention turned to you, her hands reaching. "Mamama."

Your smile spread slowly and you offered her one of you fingers, which she grabbed and pulled toward her mouth, distracting her from your arm scooping her up. "Hi sweetie." You whispered, holding her so her tiny feet stood on your thigh and her body leaned against your chest.

She babbled her hand grabbing at your nose.

Leaning forward, you kissed her round cheek, making squeal, hiding in the crook of you neck with her stubby arms wrapped 'around' you.

Your heart swelled at the action, your smile now warm and wide.

"See?" Megumi said suddenly, a faint smirk on his face.

"Shut up." You scoffed lightly, paying no mind to him as he kissed your temple.

Even if your husband was clearly your daughter's favorite parent, you were still going to enjoy her cuteness.

Megumi tightened his arms around your waist, his face still buried in the curve of your neck, his lashes tickling your skin every time he opened his eyes only to close them again.

The two of you had been quiet ever since he arrived in your room. You hadn’t questioned him when he simply walked in and hugged you, pulling you down to the floor and settling you into his lap.

It wasn’t something common for him, even though you were dating—but you figured he was exhausted, or in need of comfort after returning from the mission he had completed earlier.

You thought he might fall asleep like that, your hand lifting to gently run through his hair.

“Tired?” you asked softly, your fingers moving carefully through his soft strands.

He nodded, taking a deep breath. “…You smell different.” Megumi’s voice came out muffled, almost inaudible.

“Yeah… I bought a new perfume,” you replied. “Do you like it?”

His nose brushed lightly against your skin—as if he wanted to take in more of it, but was trying to find a way to do so without being obvious.

“…It’s nice,” he murmured, his hands tightening slightly around your waist before he finally tilted his head back, his eyes meeting yours. “You didn’t ask.”

“Hm?”

“Why I came like this.”

“I figured you’d tell me when you wanted to.”

Megumi opened his mouth, then closed it again, taking a few seconds to decide whether to stay quiet or not. “…It was annoying,” he admitted. “The mission.”

Your hands moved to his cheeks, your thumbs gently brushing over his soft skin. “You did good, though, didn’t you?”

A quiet scoff, almost breathless. “…Obviously.”

You let out a soft laugh, your eyes shining with adoration. Your chest felt warm, happy that he was finally opening up, even if only little by little.

“…I don’t feel like going back yet.”

“You don’t have to.”

His hand shifted again, this time rising to cover yours, gently removing them from his face and bringing one up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to it.

Your lips parted slightly in brief surprise, a faint warmth rising to your cheeks.

Now it was your turn to hide your face in the curve of his neck, your lips curling into a smile that mirrored the one resting on your boyfriend’s.

it was late at night, around 12:34am. you and megumi couldn't sleep, both of you sprawled out on the bed, deciding to put a movie in the background, "what do'y wanna watch gumi?" you question softly, turning your head to look at him, he looks up from his phone. "oh, uhm we could rewatch the hunger games. first movie maybe?" you nod quickly, "good choice! alright i'm putting it on."

he nods, turning off his phone completely to focus on the movie, but his eyes were never on the screen, they were on you. to be specific they were on your lips. you pretended to not notice, oh but you knew. it was pretty obvious he wasn't very subtle about his staring.

"Wow, you are so fucking blurry," you giggle as you look back at him, and he chuckles as he uses the hand resting on the back of your neck to pull you back to his lips.

One thing leads to another, and you end up under him on the bed. You hate not being able to see him as he kisses his way down your body, so you decide to make the enormous sacrifice of stop him by saying "Wait," he stays still instantly. His rapid breathing on your stomach, he doesn't have time to ask if you're okay before you slip away and run to the bathroom. So clearly he follows you, worried, just to see you fumbling around, frantically trying to put your contact lenses in. Bakugo is a smart guy, he understands things quickly, so he just waits by your side, trying not to look nearly as impatient as he was. Once you finally manage to do it without poking yourself in the eye, you blink rapidly and practically throw yourself into his arms again. He picks you up easily, carrying you back to the bed.

he sees the look in your eyes and he pauses. god, please help him.

sero doesn’t do this. if you were anybody else, he would’ve gladly kicked himself out to go smoke himself to sleep. or maybe even hit up denki and the boys to see if they were still up late. but for you?

he sat in your bed, waiting until you talked yourself to sleep.

"did y’ have fun..? i had fun tonight.. th’nks for forcing me outside.." you slurred, the combination of you being drunk and high getting to you. he looked over at you, hiding his smile,

"..yeah, i had fun. glad you did too."

what he forgets about pretty, drunk girls you ask? they like to ask questions.

"when we was dancing.."

"…yeah?" he turns to you, not liking where this inquiry seems to be going. he shouldn’t have got you high.

and if it was anybody else, his answer would be maybe. he’s had his fair share of drunk kisses and hookups, but none of them meant much. and you know that. even when you’re intoxicated, you can read him like a book.

it was a rainy afternoon, and you were feeling lazy.

your bed was so much more cozier when it rained, you swear. you told megumi about it but he frankly found it ridiculous because it didn't even make sense. perhaps you just felt more tranquil with rain, he corrected you; but you swore it was something else.

your eyes fluttered lazily, cozied up in one of his sweatshirts and the comforter which was all kicked around. the pillowcase you laid your head smelled like him. he always had such a nice smell.

suddenly, you felt kisses from the portion of your shoulder blades that was exposed due to the sweater being too big on you, trailing up to your jaw, soon reaching the corner of your lips.

"hi 'gumi.." you greeted in a sleepy tone.

"mm," he hummed. that was his greeting. "why're you wearing my stuff?"

"they're cozy."

"so are your own clothes," he lay down beside you, propping himself on his side with his elbow. looking over your face, you looked adorable in his clothes, something he wouldn't admit aloud. you looked so huggable and cuddleable. "you're napping 3 hours after you woke up?"

"yes."

"why?"

"the rain," you answered.

he sighed under his breath. though he didn't fully understand what correlation the rain could have to your production of melatonin, he didn't question you. you seemed too tired to deal with that, and he didn't wanna be a mood killer.

so, he laid down and cuddled up to you, his eyes closing. his head was in your chest, and his arms wrapped around your waist. he had no desire to sleep at all, but he's always open to cuddle—as much as he doesn't initiate it that often.

he felt your thumb brush over his cheek, "what are you doing?"

"you have an eyelash on your face."

he opened one eye, glaring at you. that was a lie and you both knew that.

you swallowed. "...okay, there wasn't. but your face is so pretty, 'gumi. you should become a model or something."

he moved his face up and laid a gentle kiss on your lips. feathery, but with an underlying sweetness. he could tell he caught you off guard a little bit. he deepened it some, but not enough to take away that feeling of drowsiness you had. if you wanted to sleep, sleep. he wasn't inturrupting you.

he pulled away some, but your faces were still pretty close—foreheads touching. "go to sleep."

"...but am i wrong?"

"sleep." he hissed gently.

“‘Gumi…” You whispered against Megumi’s lips. He was pressing you into the wall. The kiss rushed with his hands on either side of your head so you couldn’t turn away. Megumi didn’t bother to respond choosing to deepen the kiss further by prying your lips open and pushing his tongue in your mouth.

It was messy and so unlike Megumi that you didn’t know what to do except to follow along. You fisted Megumi’s shirt in your hands, tugging him impossibly closer. Megumi made a strange sound and reluctantly pulled away, out of breath. He didn’t pull himself too far, leaning his forehead on yours as he panted in the small space between you two.

“What’s going on with you?” You whispered, a small smile growing on your lips.

“Stop.” Megumi murmured. He wrapped an arm around your waist and tugged you closer, tilting his head down, “Just stop talking and kiss me.”

He really didn’t have to tell you twice.

Megumi leaned forward and slotted his lips in between yours, exhaling through his nose. Right now he didn’t need anything else, just you.

It didn’t take long for the kiss to get heated. Roaming hands and desperate touches. The kiss soon became a clash of lips and teeth and Megumi only wanted you closer. If he could he’d tuck himself right underneath your skin and maybe only then would it be enough.

You moved to pull away, out of breath, but Megumi refused. He placed a hand behind your head to keep you from pulling away and tilted his head closer, desperate to keep his lips on yours. As much as you wanted to keep on kissing him your lungs were crying for air. You placed your hands on Megumi’s chest and pushed slightly. Megumi took the hint and with a disgruntled sigh he stopped with the onslaught of kisses. You had expected Megumi to fully part from you and pretend like nothing had happened, as he usually does, but this time Megumi hunches over and begins to press his lips along your collarbone and your neck until he reached your lips again. He continued on like this, pressing short kisses against your lips with half-lidded eyes.

“I love you.” Megumi sighed in between kisses. “I love you. I love you. I love you.”

You couldn’t help but let out a small giggle from all of the kisses. Megumi’s heart fluttered in his chest, harsher than he had ever experienced before.

“Tell me you love me.” Megumi asked quietly, brushing your bangs away from your eyes.
