Vanilla: Much has changed since the battle for Hyjal; as the fledgling horde puts down roots in kalimdor, they must fight for their survival, picking up allies along the way. Meanwhile, the alliance of old threatens to crumble under its own weight, and must root out the corruption deep within. Both sides have different but equally meaningful stories and development.
Burning Crusade: Alliance and horde take on new, unexpected allies and travel to a world in ruin to reunite with long-lost friends and family. In the wake of this, alliance and horde slowly learn to put aside their differences in favor of defeating their common enemy: demons.
Wrath: When the enemy of all comes-a-calling, alliance and horde travel to dangerous, faraway lands to face them head-on. Some amount of the enemy faction splinters off and rejoins their former factions, and despite the tension and mistrust, they prove instrumental in defeating the true enemy: an entitled white boy with daddy issues.
Cata: Alliance and horde literally can’t stop trying to kill each other, even as the planet is falling apart around them. However, while they have their differences, they must eventually put these differences aside to defeat the true enemy: a dragon riddled with brain worms.
Pandaland: The alliance and horde’s never-ending pissing contest takes a weird turn as they crash into a long-lost continent and drag along everyone they just happen to run into. No one is happy about this, but we have a solution! Pin everything on one single miserable bastard, even if they aren’t technically responsible for it.
Dadlords: Main Antagonist from the last expac’s storyline runs away to a different world/dimension/timeline or something, and while the alliance and horde have their differences, they must eventually put these differences aside to defeat the true enemy: Demons… 2!
