a couple of months back, we announced an evan 'buck' buckley appreciation week running from june 22 to june 28. here are the prompts:

june 22: family dinner | cooking/baking | "try this and tell me what you think"

june 23: gym | competition | "hey, you need a spotter?"

june 24: emergency contact | hospital | "so, how is he?"

june 25: tattoos | lichtenberg figure | "hey, we all have things we do to cope—i get new tattoos"

june 26: knitting | outfit(s) | "you clean up nice"

june 27: thirty-five | birthmark | "actually, i go by buck"

june 28: free choice | bi buck

I see the rules were posted the other day but no prompts? Do you know when the prompts will come out?

faq/rules

all types of fanworks are accepted, and there are no minimum or maximum requirements

there will be several daily prompts and you can choose between them or mix them up however you like; you can also post multiple times if you wish to do so

please tag everything properly (in terms of ratings, warnings, etc.)

if you want to, you can add your fics to the ao3 collection

late entries and crossposting with other events are allowed

ai creations, however, are not allowed

we will be monitoring the tag #buckweek2026 for any creations to reblog, but feel free to @ us too to make sure we don't miss anything

be kind to buck specifically; this is his week, after all (angst/whump is allowed, buck bashing is not)

don't be rude to each other or about other people's creations

one last thing — this event isn't run by the same person who ran buck week last year. you can still find those posts at @buckweek2025

The prompts should be out by the end of April, so I think that's right before the end of the season, or around the same time. The FAQ post should be up about a week or two before that as well.

This will be mentioned in the FAQ post too, but for clarity's sake, this event is run by different people from last year. The former owner didn't plan on running an event this year but offered to give up the url for someone else to run it, so here we are.
