Why are cis people's pronouns used by default while trans people's have to be earned through good behavior? Why are trans people's pronouns so quick to be taken away the moment they're unlikable? Why are cis people's genders viewed as what they are and trans people's genders viewed as "just what they identity as"? Why are cis people's genders viewed as a basic fact about them while trans people's genders are viewed as something extra? Why is it that gendering a cis person corrently is "basic grammar", but gendering a trans person correctly is an optional social nicety?
This is what I mean when I say misgendering a trans criminal, a trans problematic social media personality, a trans rude celebrity is transphobia.
