Sometimes i do come across TME trans folks who genuinely seem to think they don't view transfems as rapists waiting to happen, but they are. You can see their guards go up the minute they realize theres a transfem present. And like, if you were truly able go get over your preconceived notions you wouldnt do that.

sometimes a bigoted guy calling trans women slurs isn't calling her slurs because he "is secretly insecure and ashamed for being attracted to her". sometimes it's because he's a bigoted asshole. and acting like there's some magic Reddit Gotcha! that, if you comment under his post, magically undoes the harm done by his transphobia, is stupid! You aren't helping anyone!

Also, transmisogynists being sexually attracted to trans women isn't a "gotcha" at all. Men that are misogynistic towords cis women very famously treat them as sex objects. This is literally the exact same behavior.
