Malbus & my headcanons

•When Minerva gets angry with Albus, she either turns into a cat or ignores him. He loves to cuddle her, and he especially likes it when she starts to purr involuntarily—it’s hard to fight those feline instincts.

•Minerva has a habit of sleeping close to the edge of the bed; she’s very compact, so Albus always ends up moving her back toward the middle. He, by the way, is the kind to snuggle in his sleep, and it took Minerva a while to get used to that.

•Albus adores anything sweet, and Minerva often finds herself tasting all sorts of desserts with him.

•He loves her hair when it’s down, and, as a rule, whenever they’re alone, he deliberately messes up her hairstyle.

•During Minerva’s seventh year, they became friends while taking extra Animagi lessons together.

•When Albus and Minerva discuss the latest developments in Transfiguration, they argue for ages until one of them finally gives in—and then starts kissing the other.

What the hell could be cooler than canon?

My Elphinstone Urquart fancast is Ben Daniels (it took me a long time to choose, honestly). He's 40, she's 25, and it's 1961. Minerva has a short haircut—because why not? Before her husband's death, her life was far from limited to school. (Besides, young Maggie Smith with her bob is simply stunning.)
