This is the chapter in which the boys find out who Edith’s crush was (FINALLY, am I right?). So lots of cuteness and angst is involved.

….Oh man, this one was super long. I need to try to tell myself to slow it down with this fic. I will say that when I was working on this, I thought about what choices I made and I had to remove a word from chapter 4 because I worried that it would come across as offensive in hindsight when it would come to a certain line in this chapter (in case anyone remembers the small things).

So funny story–I unintentionally made an actor allusion to something that Ed Helms was in within this chapter, and I left it in just to be funny when I realized what I had done. Can you figure out what it is before you get to the end notes?

NOTE: Well, I said there wouldn’t be too much romance between the kids (because they are kids and they don’t need any of that right now) and I am still sticking with that, but I think those who like Harold with Billy might like this chapter a bit. :)

WARNING: So… yes there IS something that both CU and the Disney version of TLM have in common that is shown in this fan fic… a certain moment, so to say. Something that I personally didn’t like, and didn’t want to do, but it had to be done. With this in mind, if you already figured out what it is, and if this does give bad flashbacks, read with caution. (It’s still general/k+ safe but… you’ll know what I mean).

In which a lot of familiar faces are reintroduced and the story finally starts heading somewhere.
