Is it not completely insane and mind blowing that a few days ago just marked a solid year of this and we still get lukewarm headlines by mainstream media about how Israel is now ACCUSED of attacking Gaza hospitals (w no actual penalties for it)…. Think pieces by the New York Times that do their absolute best to tiptoe around the subject, if not outright fail to address it…….. and this is most insulting of all but I even saw more than one headline “honoring the memory” of the IOF soldiers who died in a recent attack…… and this all sounds made up but it’s not. It truly is all you see when you look up the news. Truly nothing has changed

Physically and mentally and spiritually sick of all the posturing and virtue signaling w nothing to show for it, so guys I’m asking that you please donate to Marah’s fundraiser. This fundraiser comprises Marah’s family, her brother’s family, and the families of her married sisters. It actually feels hard to breathe whenever I read up on how their tents flooded, or on how the children woke up to the bombing 3 tents away, or how her little nieces and nephews might not be able to survive Gaza’s cutting winter. there's a post where someone said "can you respect trans women who look like men" and someone responded something like "hell yeah I love people who fuck with gender!" and like... yeah that's cool, but in a lot of spaces "trans woman who looks like a man" is a lot less likely to be someone who is intentionally comfortably presenting masculine, and a lot more likely to be a girl who hasn't started transition, or can't safely, or just didn't or couldn't put in the effort to pass as fem today, and a lot of them will just look like schlubby dudes and not a radically presenting queer person. and you should be able to respect that.

Also, and I can't emphasize this enough. Are you cool with trans women who aren't hot? Like, if she's a solid 3, do you think she still has rights? Because a lot of people fail this test. Most people, in my experience.

that "women's sports aren't a refuge for mediocre male athletes" slogan is a bit funny because so far it seems that the anti-trans outrage factory is indeed a refuge for mediocre female athletes. riley gaines tied a trans woman for what, 5th place? and quit swimming. haters would say it's less about her important mission of seething about lia thomas for 500 years and moreso because posing in your swimwear for conservative audiences is simply more successful and surely pays better than being a 5th place swimmer. taylor silverman lost to children in the 7, 10 years old age range and a trans girl smaller and skinnier than her at skateboarding and her complaints about the latter's allegedly insurmountable biological predestination for doing cool tricks made her back the 3k prize money plus the extra cash prize for best trick and then some. angela carini throwing a match after receiving the first punch that left her neither injured nor even bleeding from the nose just cashed in 50 grand for kicking off a harassment campaign against an opponent with too much butch swag. the state of women's sports is so that it pays significantly better to lose and blame big trans about it, especially if you're not exactly the cream of the crop. you'd have to be neck deep in ideology to not see the obvious money trail tbh
