I previously had a shitty duvet from Target which is probably part of the reason it spontaneously exploded. I have now finished laundering linens and vacuuming feathers and getting the brand new, much higher quality duvet in the duvet cover. I cannot believe I have been missing out on this simple luxury for so many years. I mean the mess I had to clean up was a huge pain in the ass but if this is the event that forced my hand, it was worth it in the end.
