Plutarch: No one’s gonna answer me 😞

Johanna: Just start the meeting already 😡

Plutarch: Okay, so last week we have all gone over the groups you are going to be in for the arena plan, everybody remember their part?

Haymitch: No we forgot 🙄.

Finnick: District people are very forgetful you know? 😇.

Johanna: Wait there was a plan? 🤨

Chaff: I thought we were here for a party man, don’t ask me 🤷‍♂️

Plutarch: Can you guys be serious for five minutes?

Haymitch: I’m sorry, but no can do.

Plutarch: Well anyway, group one state your part.

Seeder: We are to protect the mockingjay at all costs

Blight: That also includes her fake boyfriend for some reason

Johanna: I still don’t know why we can’t just tell Katniss all of this stuff, is she not really rebellious or something?

Haymitch: No, she definitely hates the Capitol, I know that for a fact.

Finnick: How exactly are you so sure?

Haymitch: She’s been dealing in the black market since she was eleven.

Finnick: Since she was eleven? You’re lying!

Haymitch: Do I look like a liar to you?

Finnick: Yes?

Plutarch: Back to business guys, team B will be working behind the scenes, this includes myself, Cressida, her camera team, Tigris, several members of the local rebel group, and all of the other mentors. You will be responsible for sending the messages, and I will try my best to keep the tributes alive for as long as possible.

Johanna: Yeah right

Plutarch: The hovercraft that will pick you out of the arena will be taken from the Capitol fleet. It will be leaving at 12:30 AM sharp, if you don’t make it, that’s on you. But you must make sure-

Johanna: Let me guess, that Katniss gets on?

Finnick: Even if it costs our lives?

Plutarch: Yes.

Johanna: But I have a question though? What if Katniss and Peeta are too busy kissing?

Haymitch: Then you pull them apart!

Finnick: But what if she doesn’t want to?

Haymitch: I promise you, she will want to.

Finnick: How exactly do you know that?

Haymitch: She walked up to me and asked to start an uprising.

Finnick: No way

Haymitch: Yes way

Johanna: Then why can’t we tell her?

Haymitch: Because if Katniss hears that you guys are going to die for her to live, she will throw the biggest tantrum.

Johanna: You’re joking

Haymitch: Feet kicking and loud crying included

Finnick: Well at least our sacrifices will be remembered.

Johanna: Do you think she’ll sing a special song for us?

Plutarch: Can we please focus! As for team B, you should show up to the hovercraft by 11:00 PM, or else

Cressida: Or else what?

Plutarch: You find an uber that will take you to district 13

Haymitch: Can we bring extra people?

Plutarch: I don’t know if we’ll have space but I’ll try

Haymitch: You’re letting Cressida bring her camera crew!

Cressida: They’re important!

Plutarch: Ok fine, if you can get them into the hovercraft by eleven, than fine.

Everyone starts to bring up people they wanna bring

Plutarch: This meeting is over

His sleeping schedule is definitely messed up. He wakes up early so he can swim, but he has trouble sleeping after nightmares so he doesn’t sleep as much as he should.

He loves cooking, it's his love language to cook for the people he loves because that's how Mags showed her love for him, they spent a lot of time in the kitchen together and it holds good memories for him.

We know he ties knots when he’s at his worst in District Thirteen. But I think his main comfort activity is swimming, fishing or even just walking. When he’s anxious he needs to be outside or with Annie, he just gets restless. He definitely also has a fawn response, when he’s uncomfortable he looks after others, it's mostly Annie but he also does this with Peeta on the capitol mission. It distracts him and makes him feel more at ease, especially Annie, if she’s happy he’s happy. 

Finnick is a more extroverted person. If he needs a lot of time alone for any extended period of time it's a red flag that something is wrong. It’s partly because of how he had to be in the capitol and partly because he just needs people to bounce off of. 

His biggest pet peeve is when people are superficial. He had to deal with a lot of this in the captiol and he hated every moment. He hates when someone clearly just likes him for his looks. It also drove him up the wall to act so superficial and cocky himself, he can do that to a degree when it's a joke but it really took the life out of him on those trips to the capitol. 

I mentioned this in another post, but to summarise all the reapings are rigged and in my opinion, each tribute is chosen with at least a loose purpose. I think Finnick was picked to prove even careers can be picked too soon. He couldn’t have been in the career academy for very long.  Maybe it was something to do with his family, but I think the District Four careers might’ve been getting a little cocky somehow. I don’t think careers make a habit of volunteering for each other, so he had to go and he proved everyone wrong by winning. Halfway through the games it was made more clear he’d be more beneficial by winning because of how attractive he was and how much the capitol loved him.

Despite all the time he spent in the capitol, he likes comforting food from District Four the best. His favourite are the cookies sold in the market, as we know, he loves a sweet treat so Mags and Annie probably had to ration them to him to make sure he didn’t have a stupid amount of them sometimes. Mags’ cooking always gets a 10/10 from him too. 

Finnick loves the water, so swimming and fishing are his favourite hobbies. He bought a boat with his victors winnings and he loves that boat a lot. 

His happiest memory is most likely his wedding, or the time he spent with Mags and Annie in District Four. They used to have dinner together at least once a week and they are definitely some of his favourite memories since it’s the most normal life ever was for him. 

I mean, think about it. Katniss Everdeen was the girl on fire. The symbol of the rebellion. The Victor. Her name is known in every lip in Panem; every child born after the second rebellion will know her name.

But Katniss Mellark is just a woman from District 12. A mother and a wife. A provider. A hunter who has the woods around her home memorized like the back of her hand. She is anonymous. She is singular. She is herself.

She won by very convincingly portraying herself as weak and helpless so that she would be ignored. Then she demonstrated a wicked ability to murder.
