Natural Black Hair Tutorial! Usually Black hair is excluded in the hair tutorials which I have seen so I have gone through it in depth because it’s really not enough to tell someone simply, “Black hair is really curly, draw it really curly.” 

but most especially, incredibly emotional to see it in the perspective of ballroom and hear tempress singing memory, seeing the images of historic ballroom behind them and just think about not only what it means to have ballroom on center stage, in the mainstream, with a musical that was around when ballroom was also happening in the sidelines, but also that you get to see generations of ballroom icons who survived the 80s and early 90s, which were fatal for queer people, passing the torch to the younger generation that has to defend the rights that were won, in the climate we have today
