I find myself getting angry these days. I should not have taken it out on @ndiecity

Your attempt at a comparison falls flat because Joe Biden brings nothing new politically to the table, he's Hillary Clinton, except he's a man who only speaks at rallies for 7 minutes at a time because his staff wants to keep him from speaking publicly as much as they can. He's less electable than Hillary Clinton, who lost to Donald Trump. It also falls flat because basically everyone I've ever talked to who supports Bernie are critical of him. And this includes real life people and not just people online like the Bernie supporters you've interacted with.

This idea that Biden and Trump are the same candidate isn’t very well thought out. It’s accusatory and appears to boil down to “if Biden is nominated, I’m okay with 4 more years of Trump, who will stack courts out of democratic favor and continue to erode democracy in the senate.”

Please think before spreading anti-voting propaganda. There is harm in electing Biden over Bernie, but also greater harm in electing Trump over Biden. This anti Biden narrative aims to sow exhaustion and apathy.

The supreme court is a pretty weak argument considering they're both still happy with bombing people to continue to uphold American hegemony. Biden was acting like a war hawk in the last debate with how he was talking about enforcing policy on sovereign nations. No thank you.

What I don’t like is that I feel like this says unless someone is absolutely morally pure, we shouldn’t vote for them.

But the trouble with that is: life isn’t that black and white. I feel that this means that I shouldn’t vote for Biden because he’s the same person as Trump or Hillary. Because he’s not. They’re all different people.

Do I think that Biden will make disgusting decisions and hide them as best he can? Yeah. Yeah I do. I agree.

But do I think that voting Biden over allowing Trump to win is a step in the right direction. hate crimes have gone up since Trump’s election. And a Supreme Court stacked democratically would assist the pro choice movement.

I want an America where I don’t have to choose between Satan and Satan’s More Polite Cousin Who Favors Butthole Torture Less Than Satan Does. But Satan’s More Polite Cousin Who Favors Butthole Torture Less Than Satan Does is still a step in the right direction, dammit.

Allyship is voting for Biden when you don’t fucking like him, because he won’t stack the Supreme Court the same way Trump would.

The situation about Bush (above) is not the situation we are in now. Please think critically about anything that attempts to play you into not voting. They are trying to stop you. Do not let them stop you.
