COZY HOME LIGHTING MOD

Cozy Home is a lighting mod for the Sims 2 that was borne out of experimenting with different lighting mods and cherry-picking which features I liked in all of them, including sims 2 vanilla lighting. 

The result is a lighting mod built from the ground-up from vanilla Maxis files and slowly adding in things I liked from other lighting mods.

Hey everyone! I'm on a roll with this cc stuff atm

I was browsing custom content for shop signs the other night and found these stunning updated versions of mog's illuminated shop signs by @cityof2morrow which instantly went into my game, imma be real.

So I had an idea for this. My version of Pleasantview is based in what I consider a fictional version of Britain, and I wanted some signs that look cute but also give that British vibe, so I made these recolours. I showed this idea off yesterday and decided after some interest to upload it :)

Below is a showcase of the 8 recolours of each, and they both come in English and Simlish versions!

This also started out because my bf's local One Stop shut down and he desperately wanted me to remake the one stop sign for sims 2, so I did (he doesn't even play but he loves seeing me create) and I ended up making loads! <3

Simlish - SFS English - SFS Main mesh is included but I recommend heading over and grabbing the repo'd signs which include the two sided and larger meshes.

Hey cuties (*≧ω≦*) I’ve been super addicted to my Sims 2 town lately, and ever since I saw this dress in Sims 4, I’ve had a very specific story in mind o.o And now my Sims can finally wear it xD Somehow I’ve completely fallen in love with this dress (ﾉ´♡´)ﾉ* I had so much fun converting it, and I hope I’ll enjoy playing with it just as much :3

Sul Sul!

Remember my 4T2 kitchen sets, that some sets didn't have islands? I said I will do them "soon" and nearly a year later there is still no update (minus a few new sets / island addons with new packs etc)... yeah that set!

Well now I have done it! Every set now has its islands! Finally! Recolours are arranged in the same order as their counter counterparts!

Things to note;

I did update some existing cabinets and counters,

redid some meshes on some items,

rearranged texture orders on some others,

adjusted other bits,

photos on the download page,

Sims 4 Shadow file needed, only need one in your game!

So I recommend throwing out my old counters and popping these ones instead!

Invisible Food Stands with Stoves Repo'd to NL Tempest Cooktop Default/CEP Extra Combo

Yet another thing that has been sitting on the to-do list for years. I've had the messy prototypes of this in my files for ages but only just got around to making something uploadable. I pretty much don't use the food stand part of the food stands and just customize them with island counters/different barstools/whatever else, so I went the nuclear route and defaulted them by deleting all the mesh parts except for anything related to the stoves. I used a BV stove mesh for the AL diner stand and used the far east stove shadow meshes for all of them so there's no drop shadows for any bits of the stands aside from the stoves and to keep them looking consistent. Hood visibility was disabled. Stoves are also repo'd to the NL restaurant stove and have 2 recolorable subsets like it. I didn't think it was worth messing with the bhavs to stop barstools from spawning since they're easy to delete and replace.

Files go in the documents cep extra file since I had to make a combined cep-extra/default for this to work. I had to break the recolorability of the stand part of the food stands to have 2 recolorable ones on the stove. I didn't edit the textures. If there's any parts of the stands extracted as deco (I've seen this somewhere but can't remember where or if they're repo or standalone) that are repo'd to the stand around, they'll still work but won't be recolorable.

A couple of minor annoyances: I couldn't fully fix the thumbnail for the AL diner stand. The clickable area for the stand objects is larger than the the stove meshes. They seem to be resistant to the usual fixes for these issues

12 recolors of 4t2 EP03 Pants Dress Capri, converted by @webluepeace. For AM sims, set as everyday and formal wear. For my recolors, I added a fabric texture to the pants, made new colors for the shoes (which originally only came in black), and removed the unneeded, blank textures from the package files. [ts2] Max20 Comfy Living Corner Sofa + bonusmeshes

I don't really have a lot of nice sofa's in my game & when I found this I knew I had to convert it! I playtested it and everything works fine but they can't sit on the chaise lounge for obvious reasons. But they can sit and nap and play on the normal sitting part. It comes in 10 colors (also Max's original recolors. I made four) You can see the original colors here. (I made five)

[TS2] Ikea Hemnes Desk - edit

I love this desk, but I didnt love the books, I prefer to clutter it up myself so I edited them out. It's not repo'd to the IKEA Dresser (sorry about that, I might tackle it in the future though) It comes in 10 colors, Enjoy :)

I quite like this 4t2 conversion by Kayleigh83, I can always use more bathroom things! But there were a few things that I wanted to do a little differently, and in the end I thought perhaps someone else would also enjoy the edits I made and here we are :) My offering for you today is five of the items of this set.

Includes shower caddy with hooks, hair tools, sponge/soap/loufa on a hook, with recolors.

Tl;dr everything has two subsets giving you less files but the same amount of options, much smaller textures, and the outcome will look the same. And the caddy now has slots!

Exact changes made - All objects have been remapped, reducing the textures to only the used parts which is a 50-81% reduction in sizes with no difference in quality because the texture is still the same as it was, I just removed the excess unused parts. On average textures are 71% smaller than they was originally, which is great for pink flashing purposes. - Shower caddy glass subset is now separate and cannot be recolored. The recolorable subsets on the caddy is the frame, and the hooks. The hooks come with an invisible recolor, removing the need for the second wall caddy that had no hooks. The items that hung on the hooks have been removed, to give you more freedom of possibly hanging other things on there. - Sponge, soap and loufa have a subset for the wall mount, and one for the item. The height has been adjusted, to align with the hooks on the caddy. Thanks to an invisible recolor for the wall mount, you can use them to fill the caddy hooks if you want, but this way you have more variety because you can pick any color you want on the soap/loufa, and you can have empty hooks and whatever constellation you want. Yay variety! And because the subsets are separate, what was 27 recolors is now 9 and you still have all the options you did before. - Hairtools now has the frame repo'd to the caddy, because the texture is identical, and since we cut down a lot of recolors elsewhere I decided to make all possible combinations of tool recolors for a total of 6. You want a blue brush and a purple straightener? You got it. - SLOTS! I am not the biggest fan of slots, in fact I tend to remove them, but this was one instance where I quite liked the idea of not having to wrangle OMSPs to fill the shelves. The shower caddy now has 8 slots, in slight disarray and rotation varieties because who has a perfectly neat shower shelf. I don't! Slot display below, using a different deco item that better highlights the disorganized nature of the slot placement. (For convenience, I recommend having this slotblocker in your arsenal, in case you ever want to make things stop snapping to the slots) - All of the items no longer hide with walls down, because a shelf looks stupid disappearing because the objects placed on it do not, and the others

Texture remapping size changes Caddy 512x512 -> 64x64 + 128x512 + 128x128 (71% redux) Hair tools 512x512 -> 256x256, frame repo'd to 128x512. Glass is unchanged. (50% redux) Sponge 256x256 -> 128x64 + repo'd to 128x64 (75% redux) Soap 256x256 -> 64x128 + 64x64 (81% redux) Loufa 256x256 -> 64x64 + repo'd to 128x64 (81% redux)

Please note the original conversion has lots more items that I definitely recommend you go and grab! The items filling the shower caddy in the first image are all from the set 😊 I have not changed the GUIDs of these items so that previously placed items will remain.
