ok so this is another long shot but a few years ago there was a twitter post (in japanese i think?) that had measurememts for how to make this book stand thing out of cardboard that you could use to double up books and use up more space on shelves
back then i made a bunch of these but by now i lost the pic and dont know how to find the original post anymore
if it comes down to it i can just take one apart and get the measurements from there but i would be very grateful if anyone happens to have the original post or something similar??
don't mind how long it's been since i made this post, anyway i realized that i don't even need to take one apart to get the measurements when i can literally just unfold it and refold it /FACEPALM
so anyway here is the diagram for anyone else who is interested!!
this requires pretty big carboard pieces, if you have a really big box or something you can make it from one piece, but if you don't, you can also just make each of the pieces individually and then tape them together
and then in the end you put it together like this!!
and then when you make a bunch you can put them all next to each other and stack your books like crazy
EVERYONE START GETTING MORE USE OUT OF YOUR SPACE NOW!!!!
Oh thank you OP this would be an excellent use for the huge amount of spare cardboard currently cluttering my house. Brb making twenty.
Lovely to see we have spaces where you can gain access to so much literature!
Don't sleep on @queerliblib the Queer Liberation Library for all your queer Libby needs!
I have had a lot of evil people say to me that nothing taste as good as skinny feels and every time im like no im pretty sure food tastes really super good actually

Hi, how are you? My name is Etta, and I am thirty-three years old. I live in Providence, Rhode Island. I’m a disabled, white Cherokee Nation citizen who is learning to speak [Otali] Cherokee, and read and write the syllabary, in my spare time.
This blog is my study journal. I am starting with the Fall 2026 cohort in the University of Texas at Austin Ph.D. program in Higher Education Leadership and Policy. My research interests focus on Indigenous sovereignty and structural accountability and will explore TribalCrit/critical race theory and critical data theory.

┊✧ How do tribal nations exercise sovereignty within data systems not designed for them?
┊✧ How do postsecondary institutions, Indigenous nations, and the federal government restructure policy to meet the needs of Native students, especially in predominantly white institutions (where most Native students enroll)?

I am once again vexed by what the bullet journal has become, when there are people who could really find value in the simplistic organization method it was originally designed to be by someone with ADHD
I really think people need to accept the fact that their aesthetically markered and extravagantly washi taped notebooks are actually art journals or even scrapbooks or junk journals, not bullet journals as a tool to help stay organized
Yes And
If I (as someone with adhd) make my bujo into an art project, I hack my brain into actually using it to stay organized. Generally one catch-all bujo and one pocket sketchbook is my go to combination
there’s this extremely kind soul of a woman on instagram that makes accessible recipes that don’t require standing, chopping, or a stove and she might just have a permanent place in my heart
She's on YouTube too! For non-Instagram using friends:
I love her, she's great. Her recipes are friendly for both physical and/or intellectual disabilities. And her 5-year-old helps her cook. 🥰

Y’ever read something and have understanding that has eluded you interminably suddenly stop, curl up, and snuggle neatly into a fold in your brain because a new way way opened to it?
I've seen this passed around a few times, and I have one thing to say:
It's online. The book was carefully and wonderfully recreated online by hand. You can find it here. The entire book is this easy.

Romanticizing studying/education
While I am not currently enrolled in college, something I found incredibly helpful when it came to studying and taking notes was fully romanticizing it. And by that I mean going all the way in— I would put on a classical music playlist and set my LEDs to a warm orange tone and pretend I was a young scholar in ye olden days studying by candlelight, and a couple hours later I’d have half a notebook filled with color-coded notes. Another time I put on some film noir jazz and rain ambience and imagined I was a tired, grizzled detective working tirelessly on a cold case that just wasn’t making sense. And sure enough, I would have pages upon pages of notes and work completed by the end of the night. It sounds really silly but I shocked myself with how well it worked, and I wanted to share my experience with it in case it can help anyone else!
To be loved is to be changed (bujo edition)
to all the adhd bujo peeps who have been struggeling to keep your journal habit up: i know instagram makes it look like you have to be all aesthetic and inject matcha latte directly into your veins but let me tell you:
actively work against that perfectionism!!
stick that train ticket in even if it doesn't perfectly line up with the rest
cross out accidental spelling errors and leave them all scribbled and "ugly"
write everything you can think of even if it doesn't fit the theme because then you have everything in one place in case you're wondering where the hell you wrote something down (as it was originally intended btw)
USE it no matter if its pretty or not and break that awful spell of perfectionism that scares you into keeping it clean and tidy and never using it in the first place
bujos are supposed to be helpful to keep your shit together and they shouldn't have to be instagram content mills
love your imperfect bujo and it will love you back!
hot artists don't gatekeep
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

I still think it’s objectively fucked how the world is built for morning people and if you wake up later than everyone else you’re seen as a malicious aberration of some sort. I am that but it’s not because I wake up at 11 fuck yourself
