Lost Boys fandom (specifically musical), I say this with all the love in my heart. But please stop saying Star has braids when describing Mariaās Star.
Starās hair is in LOCS (not dreads, never call them dreads). There is a distinct difference between braids and locs, and what Star has are not braids!
I am fully aware that this could be a very fickle thing to be upset about, but as a mixed person in America (where people can get fired due to their hair in just a little less than half the states), it really irritates me when we mislabel a black womanās hair.
This is not a callout, this is just a gentle plea to please use correct terms when describing Starās wonderful locs.
