the thing about me is that I will see my mutuals post about wanting to be friends with their mutuals and I'll be like "oh but they probably meant their other mutuals not you"

I always am about to go to sleep at a beautiful 11pm and then something happens to me

what matters most about your interests is that they make you happy. whether other people find them productive is irrelevant. you don't have to produce anything. you are not a machine. your interests aren't for others. your interests are for you. do what makes you happy.

also it still actively makes me lose my mind anytime i remember louis was staunchly anti-tattoo at the beginning of the band. something about permanence becoming less scary when you grow more sure of yourself etc etc makes me want to set myself on fire sometimes

so thankful for louis' new tattoos because everything these days fandom-wise has been either annoying or boring or both and now i finally just get to see a dash full of hands and i think that's beautiful

i highly recommend for women and girls to be intellectually curious and difficult to shame

thinking about that scene in aotv right after the james corden show bit when louis is in the car leaving and he’s talking about celebrity culture and his perplex feelings on celebrity and how he feels being in the grey area of it. a lot of it was word salad, but i would’ve loved to have heard him talk candidly about that subject in a space where he could really piece his thoughts together on it because getting a glimpse into how his mind processes moments in his life like being on television platforms and the idea of celebrity and even somewhat imposter syndrome was fascinating to see

I’ve said this a million times but again I can’t emphasize enough what an insane amount of confidence and resilience it takes for someone to do what Louis did once he realized the hand he was dealt in 1d. Most people would have become bitter. Would have slacked. Would have quit the band. He instead said “okay fine you won’t let me do that so what else can I do to make this band better?” ????????? insane emotional intelligence!!!!!!! if you like ANYTHING about 2013-2015 one direction, you have Louis to thank.
