I don’t know who needs to hear this, but “ready” is a decision, not a feeling. you can wait all day for the moment to be right, for the ideal circumstances to occur, for things to fall perfectly in line, but that’s all relative if you haven’t decided it’s time. “readiness” occurs when you decide it does, when you’re prepared to take action. when you’re tired of waiting. you’re ready when you’re ready. period.

may 2026 grant you the awareness of things sent to test you, the discernment to know when something is no longer for you, and the ability to prioritize your peace above all else. your heart may be patient and kind, but may it also be strong and able to recognize when something is draining your spirit.

in case no one has told you today, I’m very proud of you.

friendly reminder: your goals are within reach. it may take consistency, discipline, and work to get there, but they are in reach. keep pushing.

I hope you find your way back to yourself. to the version of you that you miss, to a version of you that you recognize and identify with. I hope you meet happy again.

part of being positive is accepting pain and negative emotions. it’s impossible to be happy all the time, and it’s healthy to let yourself feel whatever you’re feeling. there’s nothing wrong with being sad, angry, upset. allow yourself to feel the pain, to grieve, to hurt, but also know that you have the strength to navigate what you’re feeling and that you’ll get through it.

it’s so weird when I randomly stumble across one of my posts on another platform. a tiktok with a bunch of uplifting quotes came on fyp today and BAM there was one of my posts. some of my words! out in the world. being spread around. feels so good man

don’t shrink yourself to fit in with people you’ve outgrown

did you have a bad day, or did you only notice the things that went wrong because that’s what your brain was looking for reinforcement on, and you hyper focused on those things for the rest of the day?

hey have you told your best friends that you love them lately? you should do that if you haven’t

find people you feel safe being a burden to. we all have to lean on people sometimes. the point isn’t to never have a problem, to never want to rant, to never need help. the point is to find the ones you can go to with your troubles and know they don’t see you as less.

just because your body doesn’t “fit the standard” doesn’t mean it’s not worthy of kindness and love. I bet you’ve never looked at your friend and determined how much you love them by what size they are. so why do you do that to yourself?

a small step in the right direction is still a step in the right direction. make some progress today. however much.

can you just believe in yourself and see what happens? you’re spent all this time being unsure, but really, where does that get you? have faith in yourself. you are more capable than you think

extend grace to yourself. grant yourself peace, compassion, forgiveness, understanding. give yourself the space to mess up and learn from your mistakes. you owe it to yourself to let your kind heart be kind to you as well.
