Some notes don’t get it… Yes that is literally what it is, the idea that working less is just morally wrong.

Not just that, it’s also very important to keep people exhausted so they don’t have the energy to learn, organise, do anything other than put what little free time they have into corporation-fed escapism because that way the status quo can’t be threatened.

I need all of you born after about 1995 to understand that in my youth in the 80s and 90s, this was unthinkable in most places in the US. Things may be shit right now in so many ways, but please, look at these two men dancing in the fucking street and understand that their joy is a triumph and a blessing. And there are still so many places where this is not safe, even in the USA. We must tirelessly work to bring this queer joy to every corner of this earth.

I know people make a lot of fun of Marie Kondo, but I felt like her book was the first organizational guide I’ve ever read that acknowledged people having an emotional attachment to possessions as natural and healthy, instead of telling you you’re an awful person for feeling sad over objects.
