Another Fun Fact: Cheetahs are incredibly nervous animals. One of the (many) reason’s they’re going extinct is that cheetahs are so sensitive and nervous, some of them are literally too nervous to breed. Others will breed, but stress themselves out so much, they’ll lose their cubs.
So zoos with breeding programs had to figure out how to make cheetahs comfortable enough to first of all, get laid and secondly - not spazz themselves into miscarrying.
So what’d they do?
They gave the cheetah’s their very own Service Dogs!

This was meant to be a quick warm up, but it turned into a comic that I’ve wanted to draw for a while. This is something that is extremely important to me, and I appreciate it if you read it.
A while ago, I heard a story that broke my heart. A family went a cat shelter to adopt. The daughter fell in love with a 3-legged cat. The father straight up said “absolutely not”. Because he was missing a leg. That cat was that close to having a family that loved him, but the missing leg held him back. Why?!
Many people have the initial instinct of “nope” when they see an imperfect animal. I get it, but less-adoptable does NOT mean less loveable. 9 out of 10 people will choose a kitten over an adult cat. And those 10% that would get an adult cat often overlook “different” animals.
All I want people to do is be open to the idea of having a “different” pet in their lives. Choose the pet that you fall in love with, but at least give all of them a fair shot at winning your heart.
Don’t dismiss them, they deserve a loving home just as much as any other cat. They still purr, they still love a warm lap, they still play, they still love you. Trust me, next time you are in the market for a new kitty, just go over to that one cat that’s missing an eye and see what he’s all about!
This is Lenore. I first saw her in a little cage at the Petco I frequent (I used to take my parents’ dog in for puppy play time), and she looked like the grouchiest, old, crotchety cat in the world, and I fell instantly in love. She was cranky, she was anti-social, hanging out at the back of her cage. Her fur was matted because she wouldn’t let the groomers near her.
She was perfect.
But I didn’t have a place for her. I wasn’t living in my own space yet, and where I was, I wasn’t allowed cats. So I pressed my face to the bars of her cage and I promised that if no one had adopted her by the time I’d bought a house, I would come back for her.
I visited her every week for over six months while I looked for a house. At one point, they had to just shave her entire rear-end because the mats or fur were so bad. They told me she clawed the heck outta the groomer that did it, screamed the entire time, and spent the next two days growling at anyone that came near the cage.
A couple of weeks later, I closed on my house. I went back and I got an employee, and I said: “That one. I need that cat.”
They got the paperwork and the lady who ran the rescue that was bringing the cats in told me that Lenore (at the time, Lila) was 8 years old, had been owned by an elderly lady who had died, and brought in to a different rescue, who’d had her for six months on top of the time I’d been seeing her at Petco.
This kitty had been living in a 3x3’ cube for over a YEAR because she was older and “less adoptable.”
I signed the paperwork, put her in a cat carrier, and drove her to my new home. I had pretty much nothing; a bed, an old couch, a couple of bookcases, and a tank of mice I called “Cat TV”. I let her out of the carrier and onto my bed, and I told her “I told you I would come back for you when I had a place. It’s not much, but it’s yours too now.”
Lenore spent the next three days straight purring non-stop. She followed me around the house purring. Sat next to me purring. Slept next to me purring. Leaning into every touch, purring, purring, always purring. She still purrs if you so much as think about petting her. She’s amazing, and I love her.
So, you know, if you’re thinking about adopting, and you see a beast that others consider “less adoptable,” think about Lenore.
The only problem you will have with a deaf cat is that they have no idea how loud they can get, so they have no volume control and will yell at you a lot.
For some people, this is the opposite of a problem.
So this is dumb but I'm just throwing it out there cause I need validation that it's a cool idea...pirate crossover. But like actually including EVERY DAMN PIRATE/AESTHETICALLY PIRATE-LIKE CHARACTER EVER all in one edit. Let me see Captain Hook, Jim Hawking, Silver, Sinbad, and more all together and then throw in mermaids and possibly Esmeralda and Tulio and maybe even set it in Space ,I dunno. The point is I haven't seen this done yet and I just wanted to ask for headcanon ideas.
I love the idea and I would love to see such a video! Heck, if one had the skills they could even turn non-pirate characters into pirates! So well, if you make the video, send me the link, I’d love to see it!!! If you want ideas for more characters to add in the video... I’m afraid I can’t help much cause I can only think of the movies you already mentioned as canonically looking pirates :/ I wish you good luck in finding more, though, or even ‘creating’ more :D

What wast the point of short lived Crossoverist channel?

I wrote stuffs, bought stuffs, filmed stuffs... but life got in the way. I don’t wanna say more than that cause the subject becomes really personal. Point is, I started with the best intentions, but it just didn’t work out. It happens. I felt guilty enough about it for enough time, I don’t think I own anyone a further explanation.
God, how I despise editing with Disney’s The fox and the hound. I know a lot of people think that Mufasa’s or Bambi’s mother’s death are their personal saddest Disney moment, but the moment when Widow Tweed has to leave Tod in the forest is forever going to be the one moment that will make me cry without a doubt.
I’m not even watching the movie, I’m just going through it to get the scenes that I need and I reached this scene and had to give up editing until I had finished bawling D’x
EVERYTHING about that scene hits me in the heart. The fact that an animal is involved, a lonely old woman, that they’re forced apart, that she is leaving him just to save his life from Amos fuckboy Slade, that Tod doesn’t get what’s going on at all and is trying to cheer her up and how he follows her at first, but stays put after and the way Widow Tweed looks at him over her shoulder with tears in her eyes before she drives off, leaving him in this big, scary forest.
I agree on every single word!
That was such a sad movie to me as a child I refused to watch it: I could watch “The lion king” and “Bambi” just fine (in Bambi I lived in denial and thought Bambi’s mom came back during the time skip >////> but that’s another story...) but “The fox and the hound”... nop, that pulled at my heart strings too hard.
Plus, rewatching it nowdays, I realise Amos Slade was much of a worse person than I could remember, but for different reasons: he cares for his animals, that’s something I respect, and he was a hunter in an older world, not something I’m gonna condemn... but...
Widow Tweed was, as her name already says, a widow, and I have reasons to believe she had had a kid (she has a baby bottle in her house when she first finds Todd, nobody keeps a baby bottle around for no good reason...), kid that we never see or that is ever even mentioned in the movie, we don’t even see a picture of said kid, which makes me think either he/she lived far away by then or... he/she died.
This woman was, by her own world, lonely. Her neighbour, who looks like has been her neighbour for a long time, knew her, I’m sure well enough to know the fact she was very lonely. And still... when she found a little piece of joy, this guy decided to take it away from her, for no other good reason than the fox annoyed him!
Ok, yes, for a farmer a fox that goes after your chickens is a huge issue, I get that, but there are so many ways to work something out: he asked this woman to get rid of what to her was a substitute child.
And if we wanna see it from the fox’s point of view... let’s not forget Todd was quite heavily domesticated. I don’t think he would have survived on his own! Probably being shot by Amos was a better fate than being left alone in the forest!
Lastly, what makes it all worse to me is that Widow Tweed resembles tremendously my grandma, and her relationship with Todd resembles tremendously the one I have with my cat... and I know I would have sooner killed Amos Slade with my bare hands than let him take my cat away from me.
All this just to say... yes, I agree, “The fox and the hound” is definitely Disney’s saddest movie!
Why was Toph put as a police officer? She hates rules and it doesn’t seem like a job she would enjoy wtf?
How about if you just made her a pro wrestler! She loved doing that, maybe she would get super famous and have fan girls, that would be awesome. While I’m at it, why she in a swamp? Makes no sense, she ain’t shrek wtf she deserves a happy family after what she’s been through!!!
Instead of Toph enforcing law and order in Republic City, why not the Kyoshi warriors? They were basically body guards for Zuko and didn’t really have a purpose so why not? That would be cool seeing Suki all badass and expanding the group of the kyoshi.
Why was Katara reduced to just a healer and a mom? I don’t know about you guys but I think she would have made a great president for Republic City, I think that she would be able to help create peace and bring the nations together just as much as Aang would. And maybe she would get a fucking statue!!! Cmon!?
Oh and she could work with zuko and shit, didn’t have to be romantic I just wanna c them hang out instead of pretending like they mean nothing to each other!
Why did you have to make the Kataang marriage so broken and sad? Why couldn’t they just have normal family issues? Why couldnt they be a strong loving family?!?

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one with huge complains about “Avatar: The legend of Korra” mistreated the original characters of the show.
I believe that the series was good, great animation, good ideas, the characters were enjoyable and what they did with the new stuffs... was actually good! It had flaws but it was good.
But the way the slaughtered the original characters... that I honestly can’t forgive!
And I wanna add two points to the ones mentioned above:
1. the spirits and the spirit world looks terribly different in Korra, and... not in a good way. They look more like pokemon than spirits! And most important...
2. THEY FREAKING ERASE AANG AS WELL AS ALL THE PAST AVATARS FROM EXISTENCE!!! This... this broke me completely when I watched it, and I was waiting up until the very end to see them solve this, to see Korra gets in contact once again with her past lives, hell even to just acknowledge they had entered the spirit realms, that their spirits hadn’t been destroyed for good! But no, the show didn’t even seem to give importance to what was basically wiping out of existence the main protagonist of the past show!

jessica rabbit is literally a sex symbol though she can't be asexual?
she is in romo with a rabbit because he makes her laugh and aside from using her looks to get things out of people she literally never once shows interest in anything or anyone sexually through the entire movie and is clearly appalled when anyone makes advances towards her like there is canonical evidence that jessica rabbit from the classic motion picture who framed rogger rabbit is an asexual character
I’ve always remembered the line “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way” as Jessica’s admission that while sexualized, she isn’t inherently a sexual entity.
I mean hell, literally, her line before is “You don’t know how hard it is being a woman looking the way I do.”, to which Eddie responds; “You don’t know how hard it is being a man looking at a woman looking the way you do.”
I think that’s pretty damning evidence to her asexuality. The whole plot point with Jessica is how everyone is either convinced she’s sleeping with every human and toon around, or why does she stay faithful to Roger.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit does a great job at satirizing Hollywood/American culture and ideals when it comes to appearances. It also does a great job at hiding some really well thought out challenges to how we look at others in plain sight.
I completely believe that Jessica Rabbit is an asexual romantic (hetero/bi/pan/etc not sure, and to be honest, I don’t know if that part is important, as she’s married to the toon she loves).

So many people say never forget the holocaust, but so many others have never stopped to think about what that means.
Yeah, I know, you like your ship, cool! Yeah, I know, you hate that one ship with all your guts, cool!
But seriously, there is no need to be a prick about it. You can’t go shitting on people’s art based on your NOTP. It’s a dick move. You can’t tell people to kill themselves because they ship your NOTP. It is a dick move. You can’t harass the creators of the show that your ship came from, all because they won’t confirm it being canon or they decide not to have a canon. It is a dick move!!!! Doing dick moves are what get your ship the majority of the hate it gets. It gives all shippers, including those who aren’t toxic, a bad name.

Some have been asking, some wondered in silence, some were disappointed, some just simply forgot about that...
but yeah, after all the fuss, after all the promises, it went all down in smoke.
I tried to record a video and then to write a post for months, to at least explain what happened, but... I couldn't manage. Even now writing this is so terribly hard for me, it's taking weeks, it feels like I'm admitting my failure, but it's right to let you know what happened and... it will make me feel better to remove this heavy rock from my chest.
Let's start saying that, as many probably imagined, Crossoverist is indeed over, and before it could properly start.
And I'm so sorry about it, again, it feels like I failed everyone in the community who put their trust in me, and like all that "spam" was for nothing.
But unlike what many of you thought, Crossoverist wasn't a group of editors, it was just me, I've just been helped with advertising the channel by some friends and fellow editors.
Now let me clarify: when the projects started I really deeply believed in it. I believed I could do it, I had studied so much, my graduation thesis in university was about non/disney crossovers, their roots, I had so many plans in mind! So many different kind of videos planned, so many things I could possibly do... but... in the end it was not meant to be.
The short explanation is: after I started the channel, set up the advertisement and everything, even bought some new equipments, I started being sick. I don't want to give many details, it's rather personal and I don't know how many people will read this, but it's been quite a dark period for me, and Crossoverist became part of the problem.
I'm also a heavy perfectionist, and my perfectionism kicks in especially when I work alone and I work to please someone else. It's not hard to imagine that this didn't get along well with me being at my first experience as a youtuber, not having a good enough audio, not having a good enough green screen, not having good enough effects, good enough scripts, not being good enough at acting, in the end just not being good enough myself.
So, to cut it short, when I hit rock bottom, I had to change a lot of things in my life. And luckily, new opportunities started arriving as well! New stuffs to do, new startups I got involved with...
And Crossoverist... it's not just that I lacked time for it, it's also that now this project is so deeply connected with that dark period of my life and with my insecurities that I honestly can't bring myself near it anymore.
To whoever I have disappointed and let down: I'm sorry. I have no other excuse, but please, please try to see it from my point of view. It's really hard to make this announcement, it's really hard to admit that the ones who didn't believe in me were right, but... I'm just a person, I have my problems and a life to live and I just hope you will understand!
To be honest, I really loved the idea of Crossoverist, and I do have all this knowledge I gathered about crossovers in general... so the thing is, even though this channel will definitely die, I might actually use my knowledge sometime in the future: I might do some videos on my Bleedgirl channel, or I might write something on my tumblr page, or I might open a new little channel... this time though, without advertisement and without pressure!
Again... I just hope you will forgive my mistakes and understand.
The Crossoverist channel will be deleted in a week, and finally being able to do so actually makes me feel better.
