It’s hard to not compare yourself to everyone else especially when they’re pumping out animations that are so much better quality and faster than yours.

Please let me know if anyone else feels like this because it’s just really stressful having time fly past you and all your ideas are left unspoken to the world. Like I love watching other peoples animations and what not but I always feel self critical and sad at the same time.

silly personal project i’m doing. i’m going to draw myself often including the features of myself i don’t like. this includes insecurities such as my eczema cuts and scars as well as swollen eyes. each drawing i’ll make will represent how beautiful i feel at the time of making it aswell as the parts of myself i need to learn to love.

for this one i felt self conscious about my split lip and my scuffed nose. i felt really disgusting and crusty and couldn’t look at myself in the mirror. but once i drew this it took away some of the insecurities. made me feel a little tough. hell yeah i got a gash on my lip bet you don’t have one of them. thankfully it’s healed by now.
