No season 3 means i cant see a plot where both ed and stede are "cheating" by sneaking out of the house to have little pirate adventures, and one day they find eachother in disguise working with opposing crews but theyre not gonna expose their identities there so they have a lot of tension and flirting as "strangers" and blow the whole mission to go fuck nasty
