BitterSweet Doodles

Or like I have ideas but theyre not quite popping out on paper. I’ve finished big projects for class, but not for myself. I’m dying to make a comic, but every time I start I veer off ;____;

‘NOTHER UPDATE

This was summer 2016? Before Anime Expo that’s for sure. I had an idea to create a costume based on the kokiri from Zelda: Windwaker and to spin it on the general idea of the ‘Happy’ Mask Salesman from Majora’s Mask. 

Originally I just wanted to be Makar, BUT I found that the way I was creating his face wasn’t too ideal for a mask :(

A project for later. I still really do want to cosplay sort of as an in-between of Kokiri child to Kokiri..sprite...midget tree. I don’t know, but he’s cute and I love him.

He’s so short and chubby... LIKE MEEEEEEE

...anyway....

The piece itself is two layers of cardboard, the base being a stout upside down heart and the upper layer being a bunch of circles and ovals that simulate the pop-outie parts of the leaf. Then the face itself was cover with paper mache and painted over with Acrylic.

These are some of the other faces I want to work on...when I have time ;-;

I do want to sew together the costume, issue is I’m not that great at sewing...yet! I’m learning, taking classes. Actually aiming for a costuming certificate, which is going to be difficult but I’m going to do it! ...along with a fine art/design degree. I don’t know which I’m a little torn in class right now ;-;
