i have a little bit of a vent today, I can't name any names but there's this kid in D&D club at my school with me who had an end-of-year band award ceremony that was an hour today, that happened to overlap with the d&d club time. so, he had to leave sort of in the middle of it (which is fine, we're just playing other games, since our DM is burnt out since they're already planning next year's campaign.) this guy is not liked by many of my friends because he's generally an asshole and is incredibly rude to people, has beliefs that i personally disagree with (we're pretty sure that he e's transphobic and homophobic, and makes offensive jokes in d&d that cross the line quite a bit.) i've heard from friends that are in band with him that he only listens to people when they are yelling at him. which has become more obvious after what happened today. so after he briefly returned from the band thing to get his bag, he was pissed and was talking about how my friends (T and M) were talking and yelling at him for not showing empathy and seemingly not caring for the fellow people in the concert band, which he has participated in all year. he also yelled back at them, which ended up making M cry, as i have heard. (That has happened several times now.) My friends and I after D&D, (J, E, C, and L(?) were talking about him in the hallway, talking about how we don't really like him. J brought up how he is just annoying as hell in general and how he's transphobic, only for him to come walking down the hallway, claiming that he in fact, isn't. (except his behavior has shown that he very much is.) and so I picked up the box that J had to take home, as it was on the bench beside us while we were standing around. i walked away towards the band room and J followed after me, we then stopped again outside the band room so I could take a break from carrying it, then we walked towards the front of the school, since that's where T and M were. we checked on them, and they're okay now.
J told me that if he's in D&D next year, they might just quit since they're done with his bullshit. he also seems to think that everyone likes him, but J and many others in the D&D club are just trying to act nice to him (which isnt really great either, i'm usually just trying to ignore him most of the time.) but J basically talking like that about him today was essentially them just freely talking about him, since that was our last D&D club meeting of this year.
on a good note, the girl in my careers class that i wanna befriend is most likely going to be here on thursday (which is when our next class together is) and im planning on asking for her number (which im absolutely terrified about.) anyways. it's 2 fucking am and im doing homework for my art class. done with this shit, can't wait for the summer break
