I like that the presumption here is that “No One On Tumblr Has Heard of Color Theory, Let Me Explain in Depth” rather than simply acknowledging that the VISUAL EFFECTS of this particular color choice, applied in the manner it was, can still amount to “this is a hospital and that looks like blood”

A common imagined threat that US conservatives raise when the concept of free healthcare comes up is that "but then we'll get healthcare tourism!!!! Non-citizens will come here to get free/cheap medical care!!!!1!!!!!" And i just need to point out that as of 2026, an estimated 1,500,000 Americans travel to other countries for healthcare per year -- and in fact, USA is the leading generator of healthcare tourists.
