My heart breaks into a thousand shards

I shook hands with the night, her father in the mad dawn I saw bow his cold arms into ash and stir no more. Her mother fell like a drunk stone in the rain bathed heath. Her hair, an ivory pillow in the green palace of death.

Every action churns up the stillness that life has given us to create.

There cascades through sanity the madness which sates our desires.

Men will make each other gods only in order to have a god to surrender to.

There’s nothing as satisfying as mapping a climb, or as gratifying as the fall.

We embark upon the path of least resistance, and then mourn that no worthy encumbrance stood in our way.

I gave up resisting and was attracted magnetically to the densest substance of man: struggle

Steady wins the race...whether fast or slow.

You are the only knowledge of the world. And the knowledge can never realise that it is knowledge.

She did not speak at first because the breeze was whispering.

Only when happiness is at mercy of the individual, can it have the freedom to be reborn.

Hard work is a dead man’s silence

There is one simple truth to happiness, that it is never simple.

‘Shall we go?’ ‘We already have. Only our feet have been left to follow.’

A prophecy marks only the end of the beginning. It puts an end to an innate ignorance of not knowing and frees the coming future of its restraints to flee itself.
